I have been using fab swingers for almost 6 year now and I have met a host of wonderful female friends over the years.
The site was great when I first joined you would see an update or a meet request and message and more than likely get your message read and replied too.
Some were yes and some no of course. But I managed to meet decent nice people. Educated in nice homes. Kind of you nice neighbours . Couples and single ladies alike. I went to house parties, social swinger meets in Local pubs and generally had a lot of fun with nice people.
It seems now that the site is full of fantasies, fakes and time wasters. I send messages, good messages that never get read, or read and not deleted but never replied to. It always leaves you wondering. Shame the site has gone that way. Where have all the genuine girls and couples gone who used to meet guys like me? Maybe it’s because im now over 50 and the appeal was gone lol. |

We've been on here for around 10 years and seen a big change since we first joined.
We put that partly down to our desires, and circumstances have changed, and of course our age doesn't help.
Like you, we have attended some great house parties and social events but they are few and far between since the pandemic hit.
Everyone uses the site for their own needs, we just find there are quite a few more users who assume because you're on a swinging site that your free to "meet now" and will have sex with anyone  |

I came to this site as I had not swung in a while as I was in a relationship.
I had an hell of a time visited many hotels and accommodated many as well.
So years later I came here seeking some of the same to find well I can't describe it, but it made me hide my profile and use the forums.
Shame that but it is what it is. |

You’re totally right there. Not everyone wants to just meet after a message or too.
But then again theoretically, would you guys wanna meet at 53-year-old man when you can meet a 32-year-old man! I think age appeal has a lot to do with it. |

Also there seems to be a massive increase in opportunist single guys who put no effort into messages. This not only makes couple frustrated, but it also contributes to message fatigue as inboxes become overpopulated and it is harder to feel positive generally towards single guys. We always try and respond to polite and thoughtful messages, but there is no doubt we have become less tolerant overall having had to deal with so many arrogant plonkers.
We also have to say that there is an increase in couples who put little effort into messaging.
Hey ho, maybe the site is a victim of its own success combined with an ever increasingly selfish society where people feel somewhat entitled? |

Don't mean to be rude OP but do you not think that a large percentage of this feeling is due to you getting older and the women and couples getting younger?
A 5 year gap can be awkward for some people so the opportunities to meet with a 20 year gap is gonna be less than nearly nothing

been on this site right from the begining with our couples profile and was on the biggest one before fab ... and from our couples account thisd site is still hands down the best site.
it has changed but that was always going to be the case and since covid of course with men flooding in and swamping the site however the site is still by far the best for meeting others for fun once you get past all the social media type post or looking for love and those that masturbate and one thing has been noted is that more and more of our swinging friends are resorting back to the old days of going underground private meets private parties even dogging is getting more popular at some sites but as online goes fab is king or queen
oh and theres no right or wrong way to use fab we are all different

We blocked messages from males very early after joining Fab. Since then, we cannot complain, Fab send to be a great tool to find couples besides clubs and parties. We ended up disappointed a few times with couples fake profiles but now they are so easy to spot. So perhaps the problem is too many single males and fake accounts of women and couples set up by single males.
Have never ever in the forums read about any women or couples pretending to be a single male. If another has ever found one, I would love to hear about it  |
