Do you use them? Have you been lured in by someone using them and been shocked once you meet in person?

So many cat fish stories over the years, I can only imagine it happens here too

The only thing we've done is turn the brightness up or down. We wouldn't arrange to meet someone with filtered photos so are yet to be disappointed.

I did try filters once on one of my face pics and I looked weird so no I don't bother. I am what I am I'd rather someone I'm interested in see the real me and if I'm not for them its all good. I have seen filtered pics on here you can usually spot them.

Only thing I've done is remove the background or hide face on certain pics but it's out there now on public so won't bother hiding face anymore

I can’t stand them. A girl I used to go to school with uses them, she honestly looks completely different in real life.

All we have ever done is enhance the colours, or some sort of greyscale. Not done anything like using a snap filter or close.

Exactly that point. Has anyone had a meet where they turned up to a completely different face?

I would only use brightness and blur if I ever used filters.

Why I only meet people after a live video chat for a few minutes. More accurate snd even that’s not 100% as cameras from phones / iPads distort stuff slightly.

Example my boobs look huge in closeup pics from selfies snd my dick looks bigger than average as close up shots. While no filters so it’s not enhanced it’s about perspective and if people are not intelligent with understanding how focal points work and wide lenses / selfies affect subjects then you get let down in person

A video chat kinda helps somewhat with this but even then holding a phone close up or downward can be flattering

I mean that's brings a new "perspective" to this debate... I guess angles are allowed? Or is it as bad as a filter lol

Yeah, I'm same. It's okay to be artistic, but it's not okay to lie. Xx

See a lot in here where the filters are making them looking like waxworks.
