Has anyone got any suggestions regarding the drinks package to choose
We're not big drinkers so the £80, a day per couple seems excessive although we suppose that depends on drink prices on board
The other option we're considering is the wine package
Any thoughts expirence or suggestions very much appreciated
or ideas are welcome

I’d say it depends on how much you drink, both alcoholic or non. Alcoholic wise I pretty much drink just beer so I was having to have 10 or so a day to ‘break even’ (there is a 15 per day limit, regardless of type of drink, plus you can get tea, coffee and water free anyway) so it didn’t seem worth it. There is also a ‘catch’ in that not all drinks are included unless you take the top level package. If you were to have a nice glass of wine that isn’t included in your package then the full cost is added to your account, not a supplement.

If you are not big drinkers the package isn't worth it considering that most days you will be off ship. Drinks are reasonably priced so it would be difficult to spend that amount daily.
Hope you have a great time and I may see you out and about as I am on the same cruise. |

If you are not big drinkers the package isn't worth it considering that most days you will be off ship. Drinks are reasonably priced so it would be difficult to spend that amount daily.

Little tip if you’ve got lots of on board spends for your cabin. You can’t use the on board money in advance. But on the first day / soon as you arrive on the ship, you can use it to pay for the drinks package.
P&O did previously charge a bit more on ship than in advance, but last trip in November prices were the same
