We decided on a Saturday to go to Chams for the first time. It was one of those conversations that you have where you don't really believe it's going to happen. Like, something will come up. Absolutely yeah. My ass no longer sweats on the drive up there haha.
It's like anything to be honest. The more you do it, the more it becomes the norm. We still both get butterflies before we get there but we've been enough to know that as soon as we step through the door, we'll feel fine. The scariest part of anything you do that is nerve-wracking is always the bit leading up to it. You'll be fine. And if you do dislike it, at least you know and will no longer wonder xx |

That’s a fair point.. my partner and I have both said that we can at least try if it doesn’t work out we are enough for each other. We just see it as a way to enhance our already great sex life.

The first meet was amazing, the second even better - there is definitely a bit of nerves the first time!
My advice would be to meet with a couple you genuinely like / click with, have drinks and chat, hang out like you do with friends. Then move to a hotel room and just go with the flow.
Don’t be surprised by the emotions - could be a bit of jealousy or being insecure, could be being turned on far more than you expected seeing your partner with someone else.

My first time I was nevers and I still get nevers when meeting someone new.
My best advice would be, don't over think it, just go with the flow.
If you put up to many barriers you are going to be thinking about that and not enjoying the moment.
Also the first meet never really goes very well so it's worth giving it a second meet, unless it was really bad. |

Wasn't great experience for us. R raised the subject of swinging with me and once I'd decided to give it a go I wanted to go to a club ASAP before I talked myself back out of it. We ended up going to one about 3 days later. We were both so nervous and it was fairly quiet when we got there (and for most of the time we stayed) so we really stood out as newbies. Every time R left me to go to the bar etc the single guys would start talking to me which made me more uncomfortable. Ultimately this club night and one of the meets we had after put me off so much I asked R if we could stop. Ended up coming off fab for 6 years before I surprised R by saying I'd go to Xtasia if he wanted, as I knew he'd really wanted to try that club. That was Oct last year and this Time round we've has far more fun. My advice for newbies is do your research, read club reviews, talk about what sort of night you want to go on and whether you go on a couples & ladies only night etc. |

Whether the first time or later, as a couple that mostly plays with other couples, to make sure that both parts of the other couple are genuinely attracted and interested to both of you in your couple. Else, sex will be bad for one of you and the overall experience also bad for both of you. |

We chose to try our first time in a club just over 12 months ago. Extremely nervous but also confident. End result was neither of us got very excited. We have now put this down to the club we chose and are now looking at trying for a second time. I guess at least we have some idea of what to expect and I think we will both be more relaxed. |
