I have quite often met the postman or postwoman and occasionally a delivery man at the door in a pretty nightie and knickers, but nothing indecent. The postwoman has actually become a friend and drops in to see us occasionally. |

Yes, once opened the door completely starkers,after a heavy night, to the cab driver who had come to run us to the airport. He had been banging for ages and I woke up startled and just went running to the door.
Was a total accident though and not done on purpose. |

A couple of tales
Firstly
I once answered the front door to a couple of ladies from the Jehovah's Witnesses
It was a Saturday morning and I had been to the gym which was across the road from the flat we used to live in
And had just finished having a bath
When our doorbell rang
A neighbour??
I thought
I opened the door wearing just a bath towel
And was greeted by two ladies
One a little older than me
But the other a much younger lady
As the older one told me who they were
I chatted with her but looked at the younger lady
I did have a fairly fit body in those days!!!
And she was looking with a smile on her face
I discussed a few things that I wasn’t happy with
In regards to their beliefs etc
But the older lady didn’t seem in a hurry to leave
However after fifteen minutes
They did so
And as they turned to ring my neighbours doorbell
The younger one
Took a final look!!!
Running her eyes up and down!!
I smiled at her
And she returned the compliment
Perhaps I was hoping she would call again one Saturday morning
To continue trying to convince me
But sadly not |

So my second tale is this one
Katie was getting ready to go out for the evening with her colleagues from work
When she said
I can’t remember if I told Sue I was going out tonight??
I can’t remember if I cancelled??
Sue is an older friend of Katie’s
And she would usually come up for a chat and cuppa once a month
Ah well!!!
If she does come up
You’ll have to entertain her!!!
Or tell her to give me a ring and I’ll rearrange!!
Katie then went out for the evening
I wasn’t sure???
Should I??
Or not??
Entertain her
Sue had been visiting for a couple of years
And as we lived in a flat
She too had seen me dressed in just a Bath towel as I exited the bathroom opposite our lounge door
I decided I’d see what happened
And as normal I had my evening bath
As I contemplated
The doorbell rang
I thought
Should I??
Or not??
As it rang again I got out of the bath
Wrapping a towel around myself I walked to the door
As I opened it she had gone
But she was only just on the stairwell landing below me
I walked over to the handrail
And said
Katie has gone out tonight
She wasn’t sure if she had told you
As I said that
Sue looked up at me
You mind that towel doesn’t fall down!!
She said
Why??
Would it embarrass you???
It wouldn’t embarrass me she replied
Tell Katie i give her a call
I was so tempted to allow the towel to fall
But i decided not to push it

As we pointed out in another thread it really is worth reading the law. If you deliberately or intentionally expose yourself whether inside or outside your house knowing that someone is likely to see you it is indecent exposure and could see you with a criminal record and/or on the sex offenders register. Swinging involves consenting adults not unsuspecting passers by. |

This all falls under Section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act.
It carries a punishment of up to 2 years in prison, and being put on the Sexual Offenders register.
So it is no joke.
It is defined as an offence if a person "Intentionally exposes their genitals in front of others"
It doesn't matter if you're on your doorstep because - or even inside your own home, if a person in the street or coming to your door can see your genitals, then that is deemed a public place - because you've exposed your genitals to an unsuspecting member of the public.
If you answer the door to anyone naked that is definitely a criminal offence. Just as if you sit or stand near a window, and people can see you naked from the street or even your driveway - that's also an offence.
If your bits are properly covered and can't be seen, even if you're just in your pants, then it isn't an offence.
So answering the door in heels, stockings and suspenders without knickers is an offence, doing it with knickers isn't an offence.
So think before you flash - it's probably not worth getting your self on the sexual offenders register for such a cheap thrill. |

Hate to be the party-pooper but its a, at best, potentially a foolish game to play. Of course I "get" your side of it being a dare and naughty and exciting.
But spare a thought for your "victim". They're just doing a job and sure some may love your little prank and smirk along with you. Others may not. It may offend their religious sensibilities or even moral - not that anyone has that as right as such but us in a society could maybe all work to not cause any deliberate disharmony. Other thing is would you be happy if someone was doing this and exposing themselves to say your parents? Your children? Just a thought...

The post woman caught us having sex on the staircase once (full length glass front door). Wasn't our intention, we just got horny in the hallway and got carried away with it. Didn't consider anyone coming to the door. First we knew was the sound of the post flap (we had our backs to the door Mrs bent over the stairs at the time). She was a true professional, delivered our post unabashed and calmly carried on her way. |

I, Sasha, was meeting a guy from here and waiting for the dress I wanted to wear to arrive. Time getting on meant that I needed to do my makeup hair etc and had put on my lingerie…. There was a knock at the door … shit… I don’t want them to go but there’s no hiding the outfit makeup etc. I just thought ‘bollocks to it’ and answered the door ..took the parcel from a seemingly surprised delivery lady! Didn’t have much time to think of it as my guest was due! |

He said it was on average about 3 to 5 a week he got... as in either bored housewives or single ladies handing him a post-it note usually with a telephone number and rough guide to times they were free with their payment! |

The law is perfectly capable of differentiating between inadvertent exposure and intentional exposure. The former is not illegal but the latter, which includes being naked and standing infront of a window or opening the door to someone is intentional and therefore illegal.
The fact remains that indecent exposure, or involving vanilla bystanders in personal kinks, is not swinging, so I wonder why the topic is even being discussed here. |

for a scene built on consent i find it sad that some think its ok not to give it in some kinks ... private property or public consent is consent and it comes unders the new laws of flashing the new laws cover it very well and im surprised this thread is still going if honest as i thought fab did not allow unlawful stuff to be talked about or pics or vids ...

Trouble is, you’ve only quoted half the legislation. Section 66 also says The person must also INTEND to cause the viewer alarm or distress. So if you answer your door naked, but not caring about the viewers feelings, then you have no criminal intent.
It’s not illegal to be naked in public places, let alone your own house.
That said, I would hate to frighten/alarm/distress any callers to the house, so I’d stick a pair of shorts or a towel on before I opened the door.
I think a lot of people confuse nudity with sexuality and of course they are not the same things.
I live by the road into my village and always use my pool in the nude. If passers by don’t like it, they should stop looking at me in my pool, cheeky beggars. (Although it’s by the road, it’s in the countryside so they’d have to slow their car to look in most cases).

However, the burden lies with the complainant to prove this.
We do note though the author of this post is wanting to do this as a dare with his wife in order to shock the delivery person.
I would agree with anyone saying its a tad too "grey area" as many laws are but nonetheless simply stating it is not an offence to be naked in public is not enough. The whole caveat has to be stated for clarity.

The topic is being discussed because some do not seem to understand the difference between being naked around your own home minding your own business versus exposing your genitals to someone without their prior consent on purpose and knowingly with the intention to shock them to obtain sexual gratification at their expense. Therefore some people perceive this as an acceptable kink that is part of the swinging spectrum. Others, we do not think it's acceptable or ethical to use not consenting people in our swinging so we would not do it, no matter if it is legal or not. |
