We only meet people within a certain distance of where we are going. We find we get messages from all over off men saying they are willing to travel but find this is to much pressure to play especially if there isn't an attraction or something feels off. |

Definitely a no no for us. Usually leads to a let down or late arrival. We stay very local and not at the drop of a hat. Not sexy I know |

I agree.
On my single profile I had someone offer to come and see me from Dover ,I'm in Yorks!.
I declined because its way too far for what might just be a drink and a chat ,as I only meet socially first anyway.
Plus I feel they'd expect sex if they'd travelled miles.
I used to meet someone from London ,but we spoke for ages first and he was in yorkshire area every few weeks.

We have had people from quite far away (usually Birmingham area, 120 miles away), they say they have a big house, or are having a party etc. They'll offer to pay travel costs etc, I'll always say yes, send the cost, and always get radio silence.

As a regular traveller (all over the country) for work, I fall into that clichéd "in your area" category I'm afraid. And 99% of the time....it gets me knowhere haha. But. That's the nature of my life unfortunately. I'm on the road a lot. |

Prefer local people its just much easier to make arrangements. As others have said the pressure to do more if theyre travelling from further isnt nice. Plus the cost?! Are people really happy to be shelling out for fuel and hotel and food?! |

What we really meant was it seems a bit rude to get a message from a guy who is a long way away and saying:
"come and see me - and I'll give you a really good fucking" etc.
If he really wants to administer such a fucking, then perhaps HE should offer to travel!
(but yes, we know that a guy like that usually won't turn up - and if he does and you don't like him, it's awful).
Although we have had many very succesful meets before where the other party travelled to see us, or vice versa.
