Is it widely accepted it’s okay to block people, for example if you have already had a conversation and it hasn’t gone anywhere or you see their updates or pics and think they aren’t for you prior to having a convo ? This may seem like a basic question to most but what swingers seem acceptable on here seems twisted logic at times

People can block for various reasons might be twisted to you but normal to them

Blocking acts as a filter like your own platform of possibilities that may match your own requirements

Blocking can be a convenient tool, if ( as we do ) when receiving pushy messages.

It's an excellent tool for when your tool isn't interested or has nothing in common with others.

Some people take exception to being blocked but it's a tool provides by the site and one we use freely. As long as *you* find it acceptable that's really all that matters.

I think you become hardened to blocking the longer you are on the site.

Initially I couldn’t understand why people were so quick to hit that button but my tolerance levels for certain things are pretty low these days.

Use the option in the best way that suits you OP.

I quite often block people I'm not interested in to stop them wasting time in messaging me could be for any multitude of reasons, if it's you that's been blocked don't take it to heart and if it's you doing the blocking then you probably have a valid reason to you for doing it so don't worry

It is quite jarring at first, especially when the Chat is promising, they say they would like to meet, and you go to reply and you find you're blocked.

But as the years go by, I find myself a little trigger happy with the blocking.

Don't take it personally, there's someone for everyone.
