Yep, horrendous black leather jacket on a guy I was seeing at uni...... deal breaker.
I think the way someone dresses is important, it's not about buying fancy clothes, just taking pride in your appearance. |

"middle aged men who wear old t shirts, cropped trousers or tracksuit bottoms especialy if they are overweight and short."
Men over 40 should never ever wear trainers. The only exception to this is if you are excersing or participating in sport.
The same goes for replica football shirts and tracksuit bottoms. |

I have a friend who's standard attire is football shirt, tracksuit bottoms, white flash dunlop trainers, a very old sweatshirt and I kid you not a black flashers mac. Despite our best efforts he refuses to wear anything else. |

I disagree!! Husband regular wears tracksuit bottoms and trainers and he looks just fine at 41, they are nice tracksuit bottoms though and he doesnt look chavy, scruffy, odd in them. He does know when and where to wear them though and does scrub up even better. It maybe because we are regular gym goers so it looks ok to us. |

Hey... long live diversity - I like people that a re a bit different, including those that are a bit short, a bit chunky, a bit loony... but above all genuinely comfortable in their own skin. Now that IS sexy |

I think as long as they were nice and clean it isn't that important, nothing wrong with expressing yourself with your clothes or not being able to afford new ones. It's all about the person not the wrappers... |

I believe in creativity and having individual style. I have never dressed to fit in with the crowd, I know what I like and I will wear what I like.
I've always had a quirky fashion sense and being looked at and sometimes sniggered at has never bothered me. I would rather have my own individual style than look like a clone.
I tend to accessorise and alter my clothes to make them how I want. I am always sewing sequins, studs, lace, feathers, gems etc on outfits to brighten them up as I love all things bright and glittery. I'm not one for understated.
Therefore I enjoy other peoples creativity too. I would say that I'm not a fan of sportswear or jeans or trainers but if others like wearing it then its up to them |

No man over 20 should wear a football shirt unless he's playing! And as for trainers, I disagree. I have 40 plus pairs none of which are of the white variety I hasten to add. Anyone in white trainers should be shot repeatedly with a potato gun
As for tracksuit bottoms, gym only. I shudder when I see fat old men walking round Morrisons in them. |

My best mate is an old school friend and he's a Mod. There was talk of us going out together but apparently I'm not cool enough in what I wear! Fucking cheek! Just because I won't dress in an A line nylon dress, cut my hair in a certain way and wear crappy 60's style shoes.
That was the deal breaker for me. He's a lonely idiot, that has a need to feel accepted by 'the gang', yet 'the gang' never contacts he away from weekenders, and it's little uncool me that looks out for him.
Rant over! What a fuck wit! |

At a place i worked this guy was wandering round the workshop trying to catch someones eye, I approached him and asked if he wanted help, he asked to see Manager X, I escorted him to his office and went away, later chatting to X I asked who the guy was as he looked down on his luck, I was told he was the owner of the entire group of 23 companies I was working for and he was worth about £35M. He was dressed in a tatty polo shirt, tracky bottoms and wore a pair of old shoes which looked well past their best, on top of this he wore an old mack with buttons and a belt missing, and a flat cap older than I was. I saw him as he left the building rolling a cigarette before jumping into a rattly old mercedes estate. I suppose you should never judge anyone by first appearances |

Yes I'm very funny about what people wear, can't stand trainers for every day wear and if I meet someone in trainers it puts me off, also track suits for me it's just not acceptable to turn up to meet me in a flipping trackie when I've gone tho all the trouble of looking nice for them and they turn up looking like they have just come from signing on
I'm sure not everyone likes the way I dress but that's upto them if it bothers them or not |

Yes on more than one occasion but its usually down to a less than pristine presentation on a social meet. |
