We all know the statistics of men vs women and couples. Meets are rare regardless of tailored messages and good profiles and pics. However there are men here, over a year or more without the holy grail of a meet veri. Often told dating sites being in more bacon.

Good question. I can’t speak for all men but myself, I don’t want a relationship but would like to find someone who can become a FWB. Unfortunately that is still considered taboo with lots of people so here I am with like minded people hoping one day to find it. I think the majority of men have no intention of meeting (the silhouette brigade). Perhaps many are on to collect wank material, or some silhouettes are married men who might feel slightly guilty about trying to get a sly shag?

The site in general has its benefits other than actual meeting. Their is the sociable access whether via messages or via the chat rooms

Because some of us (aka myself) use the site to keep in touch with friends made with those we’ve met at events, connect with those going to the same places we intend on visiting, browse the forums and like to upload pics too…
The days of spending an eternity racking ones brains to send a message to complete stranger/s in the hope my words stand out amongst sea of garbage in someone’s inbox (only to no avail in most cases) are long gone |

We have met some decent men on here so there is definitely quality out there - it's just a case of getting through the chaffe to find that small clump of wheat.
One thing i/we find really annoying though - single guys please take note - is men writing and asking questions where the answer is in our profile. To us that just shows plain laziness and a lack of effort and if you're lazy in this part fellas then there's a bloody good chance you're lazy in the bedroom too. |

The verification thing...I've met two men and a couple since March (it is two couples really but I can't count one of them, if they're reading they know why! ). I will leave a verification for anyone I've met who wants one but there is a growing culture here of those who find the verification system as it is a tiny bit tacky. I don't like the site or strangers knowing what I've been up to. I've nothing to hide...I'm not meeting for freaky Dalek sex or anything, it's just a question of privacy. My 'no veri' policy hasn't been the barrier to getting meets I thought it would be, hence why I say a growing number of people turning against the verification thing.

To get a verification was the easiest thing for myself.
I just spoke with a local lady and got to the nearest swinging club.

I stay on here because I've met two lovely couples. It may not seem a lot, but I'm not desperate to meet, and very picky, and those opportunities arose at a time when communicating was clear, we were all free, and eager. If it takes another year to meet another, that's fine.
Judging by the last minute messages I receive on here at midnight it's clear many men have an unrealistic expectation of how people operate, especially couples.

Because I have been very successful in the past.
Because I'm looking for someone specific and when it happens, it will happen.
I have no expectations.
I'm not that bothered if I never have another meet. I've done everything previously anyway.

I haven't met anyone new in 3 years by choice rather than circumstance.
I have an amazing fwb who is also on here so I'm not missing out on anything.

I find most female's have probably been fucked around so they want people who are verified.
