Is this a sign of lack of imagination?

Or are they trying to show off?

Or do they just totally not understand what attracts most women?

I can't say I've noticed it.

I remember some years ago, joining a website, without thinking about what details they may want.

When asked for a username, I wasn't ready and was totally stumped, I looked around me, noticed a console game and chose a section of the games name for my username.

It wasn't even a game I chose to play.

Maybe something like that happened.

To be fair, some people might just re-use a username from somewhere else, where something like the model of car might be more relevant.

Similar story.

Imagine how disappointed people are when I turn up and I don't even like electronic music, am not a blue hedgehog and barely sound like I'm from Birmingham these days.

I should have bought a Bush stereo system and already moved to Wolverhampton at the time I created my username...

At least the article of clothing is relevant to this place, and on brand.

Plus, men are attracted to women in miniskirts.

Whereas women generally are not attracted to a man because of what he drives.

I would argue that some women are attracted to a man because of what he drives,if it represents power and possibly wealth. They'll never openly admit it naturally especially not here where we are all only interested in personality .

lol yes definitely some in that camp. I had a colleague/friend with an Audi R8 many years ago when they were new and rare who rather crudely nicknamed it "The Leg Spreader" and it wasn't just wishful thinking.

At the other end of the scale I had an Aston Martin and my girl friend at the time thought it was crap and looked like a Toyota Supra.

Maybe these guys are trying to attract partners that are interested in cars.

It's not your thing and a turnoff to you, but doesn't mean that it's not something a niche group isn't into.

Like yours, our username is pretty descriptive. It says what you'll find in the tin, as it were.

So they're not so different.

And maybe a man using a 'item of clothing' is a bit different to a woman doing so.

Plus, a miniskirt is sexy and evocative. You might have a point if we'd chosen 'apairofsocks'

We love great cars - but a user name like V8Vanquish instantly made us imagine the guy was shallow, self-centred and unimaginative. Of course, we could be completely wrong, but it's all about first impressions on here - isn't it?

Mini skirt

Couple

I'd agree if you were both going to wear a mini skirt. But honestly, I don't mind your username.

I can't get too irked by a car name when there are so many "Gut Stretcher" "Spunky Fucker" and "Clunge Splitter" type names out there. I use those as a filter!

Gbat

(If I've inadvertently used a real username in my above examples, it's purely coincidental and no offence meant).
