Why do they not read it?

Because some people don't read profiles and just look at the pictures.
The easiest way to minimise random friends requests is to just have public and private photos - none in your friends onky album.
Works a treat.

Not at all. They still send requests and I've none in there only public. Over 20 sent last night |

first line in our profile please don’t send random friends request but still get them everyday.
When we question them usually get back just trying my luck  |

"Just ignore them
Or wait until they're offline, accept and look at their friends photo's which are often just close up genitalia pics, then delete as a friend.
