I'm the same as you OP.
Just as i'm getting close, I go soft again.
It's a killer. Only happened since i took anti depressants.
It's a nightmare really, but at least i'm sane. If that makes any sense. |

Seeing that you are on Blood Pressure medication you would be wise to talk to either your GP or your local pharmasist before taking any form of ED medications.

I have had no side effects, it just keeps you harder for longer and speeds up your recovery time |

First speak to your GP about it. They can arrange blood tests to make sure it isn't some underlying condition that's causing the problem. Also they will be able to check that anything you take won't cause any problems with your blood pressure medication.
As you can get it up, it's more likely to be a psychological issue rather than a physical one. That worry in the back of your mind that you will lose your erection becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Find a way to take the pressure off yourself to perform, maybe by doing other things or being more mindful of what you are feeling in the moment rather than making the end goal your orgasm
Support of your partner(s) is important too. Make sure they are aware that it can happen and isn't a reflection of how much you want them. If they understand and are supportive when it happens, that will take some pressure off you too.
But speak to your GP about it.

But tbf when this first started a few years ago u was on no pills or antibiotics
Re a partner.
I have no regular sexual partner to advise.
Wife lost interest in sex or any kink of fisical contact 10+ years ago.
*Hence I'm on fab*
We still live together-sleep in same bed.
That's it.
But we are still BEST OF FRIENDS and love each others company as so.
Thanx again

Totally agree.
Other options to those already mentioned:
Cock pump and ring.
Eroxon gel
Intracavanosal injections(Invicorp, Caverject, Viridal, etc - VERY effective)
Vitaros gel
Muse
If all else fails there are implants.
The effectiveness of these solutions can vary for person to person and also on the underlying cause. As the underlying cause could be an indiagnosed medical condition, get checked by your GP. Good luck. |
