I think chest hair seems to be ok but it seems like most people like trimmed of shaved other areas

Hairy balls, jungle pubes and hairy backs aren’t for me. I wouldn’t expect anyone to shave, I just wouldn’t want to meet them if they were overly hairy according to my preferences.
