Standard/cut and paste messages - a complete no-no, or an acceptable way to make an initial intro?

We get a lot of copy and pastes there clearly obviously and usually don't go with anything that's on our profile despite the 1st line usually saying "I came across your profile and ......."
It just to me makes it obvious they can't be arsed.
I'd personally reply more to a Hi than I would copy and paste.

Eh, not here for it. Or 1 or 2 word messages. Lack of effort to message, tells me they'll lack effort in the bedroom too. Same as not reading a profile, they don't care enough to read so they won't care about my needs either, only their own needs.
Obviously I can't state that as fact, just my opinion based on life experiences. |

We actually had a copy n pasted message sent twice from someone we had actually had a meet with and had verified us, with no mention of ever having meet and clearly didn't realise. Definitely hadnt read our profile etc
We were n still are astounded at their stupidity
So not cool or clever

Definitely a no. I used to do this when I first signed up but I was rather naive back then.
Since then (in the last year and a bit), I've become a genuine swinger with my partner and brought my account back up to date (she has her own account), I now only send the occasional message and it's never a copy and paste.
As others have said, if you can't put an effort into a message then effort in the bedroom is probably lacking too. |

No need to re-invent the wheel every time you go to type an introductory message.
Only an idiot would imagine they had to restart every single time. Get your own banter down. Hone it, polish it and get it right! Make it your best shot. Then save it. Use that as your template from now on.
Then add a little personalised waffle which is tailored to the particular profile you are aiming at... at that time.
SEND.
This wont guarantee you a reply (or even a read) but it will save you the time and heartache of your each-uniquely-chiselled-message getting ignored. |

Man gets horny and creates account.
Man send C&P message to everyone they find nearby or in local updates.
Man gets sad they get no replies and deletes account.
Man gets horny a few days later and creates account.
Man sends their trusty C&P message they sent a few days ago and gets no reply then gets sad again. |
