Has anyone has an issue with a fake account? As in, last night I got chatting to a lady. After a bit of chat, she sent a face pic, I sent one back, and I was blocked immediately. Fair enough if user wasn’t interested, but I’m worried my picture is being used? Am I paranoid or has anyone heard of this? |

Yes there are a hell of a lot of fake profiles on here, though what's happened to you doesn't necessarily mean it's a fake. You send photos at your own risk so you'll need to learn to spot the fakes. Never send nude pics with your face in. Be aware many have fake verifications also. It seems a well known profile that fooled a lot of people has just been busted. Be savvy who you interact with. |

It’s most likely that she was using a block instead of continuing conversation. Don’t worry that person probably isn’t using your photo.
Even if they were, again don’t worry because it’s just your face and you could quite easily prove an account isn’t you. |

Thanks, but when it is a fake account, what on earth are they doing with the pictures? It’s only literally my face in the pic, it just worries me |

Just because someone blocked you after sending a picture doesn't make them fake. You just wasn't what they were looking for and you're not a site supporter. If you were you could've removed the picture after sent.... |

Don't be too concerned.
It's possible of course that they're using your face picture elsewhere to catfish for example. However why would they go to the trouble of holding a conversation with you when there are hundreds possibly thousands of face pictures on here and other SM platforms they could lift easily.
It's far more likely that the person didn't want to explain that they weren't interested and chose to block you instead.

We have found many on here we chatted on kik or what’s app as a group of 4 so no one was missing out and to show they were a couple but the weekend you are going to meet they ghost us and leave all the chats  so many dreamers |
