Hi,
Out of curiosity those of us who like to go bare, do you shave, wax, laser etc?
I shave at the min, don't feel brave enough for a wax lol and I'm fair haired so not sure if the laser thing would work.
Not perving on what you do, looking for some genuine feed back please.
Feel free to drop me a message if you would rather not reply on here.
Thanks in advance

Started waxing last year, and love it - no going back! Hurts a bit the first time (paracetamol before hand helps) but subsequent visits hurt less and less as the hair grows back finer and sparser.
It does though depend on how often you want to be completely smooth though, as you need to grow it to about half a cm before re-waxing. Just takes a bit of planning. (And leave it until at least the day after before having sex as friction hurts….) |

Ah yes forgot about the fact that it has to be longer for waxing.
Think I would rather be smooth more often than not. We pretty much have sex every day and when you have it growing back it can be a bit uncomfortable and prickly. Hence why looking for an alternative x |

"Wax is a firm no. Just no. Really really no. Just saying. "
Not gonna lie the thought of waxing down there makes me really wince
I would like to try it but I have quite sensitive skin so not sure it would be very happy with the whole waxing thing lol |

I shave . Love being smooth hubby prefers a short stubble. never dared the waxing because I’m a coward but my friend recently started a laser hair removal service and I’m really considering getting that it’s pain free. |

Waxing mostly. Just a pain that have to.leave enough growth to wax .
Feels lovely for a good few weeks
When I go through the shaving then a good exfoliate first and then I use a good amount of coconut oil to help reduce the bumps and redness |

When I was having lots of meets I'd use magic powder depilatory cream. Works better than veet etc. You just mix it with water. Fellow fabsters swore by it! |

I only wax now. My Mrs Miyagi was the best find she is fabulous!
The only downside is the regrowth you have to have before she can wax it again.
I’ll never go back to shaving. Best £35 I spend all month. |

I've been using magic powder for years but I prefer waxing.
Luckily I've now found a lady who is absolutely hilarious and we get on well. We spend the entire appointment gassing and laughing and I hardly notice the discomfort now. It's usually 3 weeks before any proper regrowth and it needs to be the length of a grain of rice before it's done again, so appts every 6 weeks. I also use a roll-on every day called Tend Skin which really slows regrowth and prevents bumps & ingrown hairs. |

I've never heard of this and was curious. Google has now terrier me by never using on public hair, at all costs! |

It's the having to regrow being waxing that puts me off (plus a bit of cowardness lol).
I bought some aloe Vera oil for after shaving and that does seem to help. X |

"I think laser is also about the pigment of your skin as well as the hair. So darker the better.
A combo of shave and wax, they have the same results. "
Yes I'm not so sure the laser would work on me as fair hair and fair skin. Will have to enquire though x |

Might give it a go for my legs though x |

Definitely recommend looking into laser, it doesn't get rid of 100% (and the darker the hair, the better the results) but it makes it so much easier keeping areas you want hair free and massively reduces ingrown hairs/shaving bumps under arm/bikini area for me.
Just knowing it's not a disaster to wear a vest top to the gym if I haven't shaved the previous 24-48hrs is massive! |
