Anyone else recently found that lots of people are no shows to organised meets?

It can happen, I’ve had people go radio silent on the day of meets but never just not turn up. It’s quite pathetic they don’t have the balls to say I’ve changed my mind.

I normally chat to people for a while first and out the fantasist’s. I also insist on exchanging phone numbers and finalising any meet by text, this quite often eliminates the chaff.

But nothing’s fool proof.

When we first joined we had a few no shows, it’s the main reason we prefer club meets now.

It's so frustrating you speak for ages then organise a meet get worked up then nothing arghhhhhh life is to short for this

On my old profile it got so bad that 1 in 10 might turn up. I got so fed up I left, I soon came back but it's not much better now.

First few months looked like things had changed for the better (had previous profile) then as if planned, suddenly had far more no shows than meets.

I guess being realistic,if people can't be arsed to keep reservations and appointments in vanilla world, there's no hope they will have the guts to be brave and message to cancel a meet! Sadly all part of ghosting I guess?
