And after 100 posts and a descent into a fair amount of bitching every time the general thing that comes out of these threads is the reason for almost everything is one of personal preference.
I can't but help feel we would be better served as a group if we accepted that people are going to have preferences and tney might be quite nit picky ones but its up to them who they meet, how they meet, what they choose to do with their profile, when they meet and what they choose to do on meets, if we could all accept this and ignore those/move on when we find someone who we are on the outside of their preferences I cant but help feel that everyone would be happier for it.
Its especially odd as people dont tend to do this outside of the swinging world in real life, you dont seem to get the constant questioning of peoples personal choice in a day to day life, but it seems as if its open season on here.

Agreed.  some people join with ridiculous senses of expectation and/or entitlement.
Plus for many it is easier to blame other people's preferences for their own lack of success. |

Oh god this idea that all you do is have sex, think about have sex and then have more sex some people have in their minds is mental!
Its as if they dont understand the demands of a full time job and life outside that ! |

Got it in one: a sense of entitlement! Some truly believe by virtue of being on site they are entitled to "have a go" on anyone they like, and can't believe they are filtered out, said "no" to etc.
There were a lot of names missing off the recent "cry baby" thread!  |

Some people have the inability to accept the reasons behind a refusal too. They will tell themselves its because they need better photos, hence the mass of 'any good photographers' or 'I'm a photographer' on the forum. You could be photographed by the worlds leading photographers and it wouldn't help.
Swinging is a very social lifestyle, meeting lots of new people, attending clubs and parties with lots of people, being on a website with thousands of profiles to choose from. If you aren't able to communicate effectively, if you are very introverted, then this personality trait will probably make swinging more difficult for you

That answer is always going to be the main feeling but if people don't air their issues in the forums then "issues" tend to get blown out of proportion as does somes peoples _iews!! |

Half the forum posts would be wiped out in one fell swoop. What then to complain about? single guys, married and cheating, bareback?
Part of the forum trivia is some complaining about others ... it's their fun! |

As been mentioned above, lots of people do have the expectation that swinging sites are full of folk that are gagging for it!
When in reality you will most probably have more success in going to you local nightclub, getting pissed so that your inhibitions are lowered and picking up someone else in the same condition. |

The reason is that messaging is the worst communication method ever invented. Once you've written something and got it wrong.... then tough shit! Nothing beats face-to-face contact... that's where communications really happens.
