So I just browsed the meets page and searched for dooging meets in the west midlands listed by m/f couples
and it came up with zero meets! So is dogging dead or do people just turn up and know that there will be punters about? I'm a massive fan of dogging and watchi_g couples performing so I sincerely hope it's not dead. I certainly haven't been lucky enough of late to be in the right place at the right time, all offers welcomed, obviously  |

I think nobody quotes locations just in case the media turns up.

I’ve never been dogging. It seems to be a bit taboo and secretive even within the swinging world and sites like this.
Maybe if more people were open about it, revealing locations and etiquette, it would be easier for new people to experience it? |

What is the point of going to a dogging site that everyone knows and advertising it.It is asking for trouble.
The easiest way and safest is to talk to others, find those you like and trust and arrange somewhere you can meet for dogging. (couples or singles)
That way you control how many and just who they are and when.
So much safer and way more fun.(obviously a friend told us all this) |

I feel the cops are more there to scare people off and quiet down the Nimbys a bit.
It’s too much hassle and a bit twattish dragging in a couple of middle aged tax payers for public indecency.

Thanks all for your opinions, so my best bet is to hope to get a personal invite to watch a couple and hopefully receive a good verification from them and hope it grows from there. Are there any willi_g couples who will help me out |

We have been dogging for over 10 years, it’s not what it was but still goes on
Camera phones and dash cams killed it for us
We mainly do arranged meets now and play away from their car just in case, we have met some good guys but can never trust people 100%
…we want to be the only one filming it haha (we always ask first) |

Dogging isn’t dead, it’s now more arranged than spontaneous. We have to be sure no dickheads will ruin it with cameras ect.
Tend to be prearranged or last minute meets with What3words being our way of setting up a location. |

Dogging around the Birmingham area seems to be 99% dead such a shame, yes there are the idiots who have spoiled it,

Dogging used to be very active, then number of things happened - internet saturation, cameras, media, cat fishing, fraud......
It used to be pretty underground and active in the early 2000's before Stan and the media picked up on it. Then it had a bit of a crack down, a million sites claiming to know all the best dogging spots...... and just shitty noise and distrust. At the same time, camera phones inproved and everyone who was in on the scene noped out unless they knew in advance who or how many would likely be there.
These days, there are still a number of active dogging sites around the regions, I've known or been involved in a number of them, but I think the feeling of them has changed. Don't know if it's a bit like rose tinted glasses and chasing "the good old days", but new dogging is a different.
There's still meets, but a lot less of them, more likely to be multiple guys for fewer and fewer women and feels like more hostility and entitlement.
Plus the internet is a billion times faster and more convenient then it used to be. Some of the very dirty horny girls I met back in early 2000's these days would run a OF page and make a mint without the risks of meets and police, and if they wanted to hook up for a fuck in a forest today, there's easier and less risky ways to do it.
People will still get the thrill from dogging, but the pool of people is less than it used to be with higher risk. |

Also don't forget the tiktokkers who want to out people for this kind of thing. They set up profiles on sites like this to arrange dogging meets just to film people to broadcast it to whoever is watching them at the time. It's become very popular on the app so usually thousands of people watching. |

What 3 words is brilliant for it. The camera issue is simply banned. We had a woman turn up and without hesitation started recording us, apparently for her own personal pleasure but still put a stop to ever visiting that location. I’m still waiting to appear on tv  |

Most police officers would not be able to access this site (or similar) from a work's computer. You have to have specialist clearance to do so. Intelligence officers (who do have clearance) are a bit too busy for randomly searching a swinger chat site. Even if they did so, they then have to get an overstretched workforce to actually go and do something with the info.
And most (probably all) UK police forces will have a policy for dealing with public sex locations. Basically, it's "leave things alone unless there are complaints being made about the area." Of course, they may be in dogging spots for other reasons, such as people selling contraband, using such products, etc.
I think that often if a cop is just bored on their rare down time, they like to go to dogging spots on the off chance of seeing something hot and horny. And finally, there are still a lot of homophobic people out there, some of them in the police. A dogging spot is a good place to go and harass gay/bi-sexual men.

its dead dash cams and smart phones have put the final nail in the lid for most ... along with men that cant help but tell everyone whats going on and more police checks due to not only dogging but boy racers and dope smokers and compared to 30+ years ago alot more men who cannot take no for a answer and beleive they have a rights just because its outside and they are there .... the most common saying on a dogging site now is ''fuck off'' due to those who wont listen... i do believe there are still one or two hotspots tho mainly bi/gay cruise now ...
in the southwest 30+ years ago the were dogging spots everywhere most were little secrets there were no clubs in the south west back then alot of swingers met at dogging spots lots of couples and no more than 10 men now its 20/30 men++++ and not any couples most nights then one or two if lucky in a week..
