Why do soooo many guys have "straight" on their profile "straight"on their status and tell me their straight in messages but they have verifications from TVs or other guys or only guys n tvs as friends its so annoying!

I do think it is unfair where someone asks for 'No Bi Guys' and people try and hoodwink by contacting them if they have played sexually in a giving or receiving capacity in the past. ( with someone of the same sex )
Over the years, I have seen so many profiles with this on and some of the verifications are from bi guys I know.

It's a big deal to take on a new sexual orientation label and many people will feel in the beginning stages or maybe never feel ready to.
Many people are only attracted to the same sex sexually and would not have a romantic relationship with same sex, for their life in general they are straight and changing there tick box is more of a serious thing to get bogged down in than they came to swinging to experience.
All that said we don't need lairs here, people need to be honest for choice and safety about things like sexual health screens, who they have had unprotected sex with etc...I mean this for everyone not just bi people of course. |

If people didn't attach such a stigma to male bisexuality, many wouldn't feel the need to hide it.
Sadly, it happens, nothing proactive is happening to change it, so people hide it. Or have more than one profile. Its hard enough for single guys to prove they are genuine and when they automatically make themselves a pariah by being honest, what do you expect?

I think it's a shame that they feel they can't open up and be themselves.
