Just added loads to my profile from my apartment in Tenerife, which has a lovely big balcony thats totally private! It even has am outdoor shower with hot water. Admittedly you probably can be seen from apartments or hotels high floorsl balconies across the way but that's from a distance and nothing to worry about.

True, and I do enjoy going to the naturist beaches for that reason, especially in Spain or Spanish islands where you get a better mix of gender than on uk beaches where its 95% men. But I wouldn't really want my balcony being overlooked by one above, in the same way mine looks right over the one below (its built like steps so the one below sticks out in front of mine).
