I do but not all the time.
I often read on here that men think if a woman wears stockings or hold ups it's for sexual purposes but it isn't all the time. I bet 95% of the time you'd never know a woman was wearing them |

I’m going to go for the sensible answer and say that over time when you combine the more sophisticated production techniques for fully fitted tights with the fashion for generally higher hem lines has led to the decline of stockings as a first choice for hosiery.
When you throw in they’re generally more fiddly than tights as well, they’ve just got less and less popular for everyday wear.

I am, and always have been a devotee of stockings … I love to wear them whenever I dress… it’s how I started!!
I think women wear hosiery less these days generally, they seem to wear trousers more, and more often go bare legged in a skirt. I know even good old M&S don’t sell stockings any more, on hold ups!!
I remember the long gone, wonderful days of perusing the hosiery depts in the dept stores such as Debenhams and House of Frazer … I was like a kiddy in a sweet shop!! Lol Such a wide choice of styles and colours …. and who could forget the wonderful Aristoc Harmony stockings mmmmm

I adore stockings and suspenders and wear them nearly every day. I just wear plain nude for the day or black in more Autumn /Winter months but going out I have a variety of seams -Point, Cuban, Havana and shades (nude seam on nude is very cute). Of course you can't beat proper stocking mill stockings but there are some good reproductions. I found them fiddly at first when I started wearing them but it's all about practice after many years I don't think about it anymore. I like hold ups also but they are not made the same way any more and some roll down far easier (usually been fine then when out they want to escape)
Stockings now tend to be lighter and if you snag one it's easier just to replace one than a whole pair of tights. I've managed to find a few suppliers online.
For suspender belts I have made a few myself and prefer a 6 or 8 strap which holds everything nicely. The fastening must be good quality or you will lose the battle very quickly.
I love lingerie and it's part of my every day life and it's very much for myself but I do love it when the gentlemen I see admires it also  |
