Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We might be hot to some and to others we might be repulsive. Vice versa applies.
If you want some clarification, we are NOT expecting model material (although who would complain?) so just people who are within our age range and who look after themselves a bit.
Tbh we actually like nice faces over bodies and as stated in our bio we do like a social connection and things in common would help too. Very open minded in terms of what we are attracted to. It can vary. Sex appeal isn’t always aesthetic.
I think we can all agree a person/couple could be a 10/10 but a shit personality (arrogant, elitist, rude etc) would be a game changer. |

We see plenty of 'hot couples' in clubs (not that we actively meet couples anymore) and there are also no end that frequent the forums, attend organised socials and seem to be having a whale of a time.
I haven't noticed any change over the last 15 years except maybe people that are now 15 years older wondering why they can't get meets with the same kind of people they did 15 years ago.
Often the major issue is that they haven't adjusted their expectations and still look for people far younger than themselves, forgetting they themselves are now significantly older, and the younger couples are mainly looking for people their own age.
It's an easy mistake to make to forget to adjust your expectations as you age, even if your preferences remain the same.

I get where you’re coming from.
Open minded in terms of age within reason, but then we do often get told we look good for our admittedly no-longer-that-young ages of 39 and 40.

It's certainly more challenging to meet couples than it is to get a single fella, but that'll just be the numbers game.
We have had some great meets, but also some wasted opportunities where we havent been able to arrange anything.
The hope is to have a handful of reliable friends we can meet more than once with some new faces sprinkled in every so often, plus the odd club meet. A bit of variety and all that! |
