So if I understand correctly you're sending out random invites to strangers.
We like most on here like to get to know people via messages or a meet in person.
Maybe that's where you're going wrong? |

Generally ( I think I speak for most) fiends is when you have spoken and established a connection etc it’s also a way of keeping a second level of protection on your pictures so often have faces or distinguishing things like tattoos etc.
if you want to be friends you need to be friends not a random stranger.  |

Like everyone else has said above sending random invites is one way to get a block
For me I prefer to add people as friends if we have either met in person or spoke for a good length of time where a meet is likely. People who send random ones just get blocked |

Sorry but Why would you send random friends request to strangers? That’s not going to help you meet people if anything the exact opposite. Message people first and see if there is a connection then build on that. |

We have requests daily...and yesterday was asked about being friends...politely declined saying no thanks as lots of pictures with my face in (a local chap) yet still put in a request...with only 1 friends picture himself... I rarely block, should probably block more tbh  |

I will only accept a friend invite if we've met or chatted a good while.
If i accepted everyone I get ,I may aswell put my friends pics public.
People prefer to build a connection first op ,they won't just add anyone and you only have 1 friend pic yourself anyway. |

let them send requests to you.
before you accept it:
do they have any private or friends pics on their profile? no. it could be a man looking for wank material.
do not accept.
does everything on their profile aline with yours. i.e are they looking to meet or just chat.
no? no point friending.
how far away are they. further they are harder it will be to arrange to meet.
need to be real about it.
pictures can be sent via direct messaging so in truth you have no need to accept a friends request until after a meeting. |

That’s really helpful and just to be clear I’m not sending out lots of random requests. I normally message first. I guess perhaps I should ask when chatting before I send a request. Thanks for all the replies! |
