Haha i only know decent words!! People always ask me - I learned polish from my dad and grandfather - they didn't teach me naughty words! First time i translated polish for a patient (Im a nurse) the Dr asked me to ask the patient if we could do a vaginal exam... And i didn't know the word for vagina |

I had a similar problem when I went recently. I learned Polish from my parents, who obviously learned it from theirs. They came over in 1947 and the language has changed, I had no clue how to ask for things like an internet cafe, where I could charge my mobile phone and similar things.
It was a steep learning curve... |
