Hey, i have come across way too many fake profiles on FAB which is a huge turnoff for everyone on here!
The only way forward seems to be clubs however private meets do have their spark / discretion.
Are there any F / MF that are genuine? Looking to meet up? Private or Club? Please feel free to wink or PM me where i can share my pictures

We only meet and engage with people that have visible photos on their profile, interesting text and meet our preferences.

If you think it’s a fake profile then report it, but in my experience it takes time to build up a rapport with F and MF profiles that are local to you and in doing so you open up loafs more opportunities for yourself. Just don’t be so narrow minded! |

I don't find fake profiles a huge turnoff at all. If they're fake they're fake and it has fuck all impact on my journey as I've never spoken to one in all my time here.
Fake people are a different story entirely. |

My knowledge of fake profiles, and there are a lot, is when the profile is 'single female'
I then get a message from them saying what they'd like to do to me, if interested, then finishing the message with 'this is the male half messaging you'  . I report but nothing ever happens.
Also see a lot of 'mf couple' profiles, the status is always 'wife is away, just hubby looking'

As you say yourself they’re easy to spot a mile off.
As we’re a couple and not a single male seeking females we only get the fantasists and no show wannabe doms or bulls in our inbox.

You can pick up a knock-off Fab profile properly cheap these days at your local car boot sale or marketplace. Not the real deal but does the job it seems.
You can easily tell as the fakes warn Adelaide University, not Sydney

It's easy to spot a fake profile. Fake profiles never have a profile picture ...saying that, in this entire thread only one profile hasn't bothered to upload a profile picture

It's a free site. Even on paid sites there are fake profiles so what exactly do you expect Fab to do?
The site is a means to 'advertise' yourselves to others, visually show yourselves, stage your interests and make contact with people who catch your eye. It's not a babysitting service, a managed dating agency and it's not responsible for anything more than providing the means to do the above. We're all adults, all perfectly capable of making our own assessments and judgements of others, all more than able to decide who to make contact with and how - whether just via messages on here or by moving to other means. All able to decide if a social meet is required, whether a club meet is safer, whether any pre physical meet is wanted or whether we're happy to just arrange a meet at a home or hotel with no previous face to face meet.
Responsibility for anything that happens meet wise lies with you as an individual/couple.
If you can't be sure enough that someone is genuine and who they claim to be then don't meet, don't leave home and travel and don't put yourself out of pocket financially.
Given people are constantly going on and on about 'fake' profiles then surely they must be easy to spot? In which case - block and move on to another.
If people put a little more thought and care into their interactions instead of letting the horn drive any chats and messages, then maybe less people would be getting duped by these 'fakes'.
Some people are their own worst enemy and make it very, very easy for those with ulterior motives and no intention of meeting to lure them in.
Own your activity on Fab. Don't blame the site for what is easily avoidable.

It’s definitely strange on here. You get sent a message “Hi guys, how are you”? “Yeah all good, how are you”? They read the message then you hear nothing else. I mean, why bother messaging in the first place |

Undoubtedly yes there are some fake profiles,pretending to be something they're not (its easy to do online).
Use your common sense & if something feels off it generally will be.
You can filter these profiles
out though,only converse with those who are verified & have pics available.
If in doubt ask to chat on phone/video call.
People are probably wary of talking to profiles that have bo pics too op.I wouldn't engage with one,You can still add a pic without giving who you are away. |

fake profiles are often easy to spot as soon as the messaging starts ...messer's trolls easy to spot ..those who use the site as socials only normally say so samr with those just looking for online fun ...finding real people who meet is easy very easy finding people whom your sexually attracted to not so ...
the site works but its not going to give it to you on a plate you have to seek you have to put some effort in use the site tools ie block make meeting you tought so that all the messer's fall wayside ...fab is a platform where people gather its not for the people who own fab to do any more than that the rest is down to you ....
alot dont like this bit but if you keep attracting letdowns or fakes then you must step back and look at how you are looking and why you attract them ... im /we are very very tough to be approached and it works its mean only those who are really interested will get thru to me/us...
i /we cannot remember the last time we were let down we just dont attract the wasters and when we do we spot very quickly |

We also don't show our faces.

agree no reason not to have a pic no ones saying your face just a nice body pic to stir interest or not ..
i find it easy to spot messers and also if im not 100% convince then i arrange nothing ... meets should be hard or hardish to find if theres no effot either way and its all to easy then ill not bother ...as a woman & a couples profile too we only meet men via fab we gave up on meeting couples and women years ago as that was a mine field so those meets are done private (people we known for years) or clubs ... bi gay women clubs or gay clubs n pubs so on the net that means guys only...
guys only so men are so easy to read the real ones stand out a mile and go the extra mile to prove they are real and want to meet those who put no effort in or expect sex on a plate or a sense of entitlement blocked every time my block list is massive but it works...so i/we dont attract messers most are blocked and those that are not soon will be..
you only have to see post in the forums or look at status's on the home page to spot most of the messers those that constantly moan or sexist/racist name n shame and the list goes on and on block block block ...30 + years on this scene has taught us that you must get rid of the rubbish to succeed block is one of the main tools..
we do all this just using fab no other apps.. no phones .. no cams .. no email just fab and it works very very well ..
i dont like putting guys down but its a fact on here most fake womens and couples profiles are ....yep men so its men running most the fake stuff for sure |

Hahahaha. Probably more likely folk think you are fake and don't interact. Here 2 weeks. No public pics. Basic info on profile.
Yeah if you messaged me it would be a straight delete. Sorry if this is harsh but single guys way outnumber women so we can generally be choosy and interact with well verified guys who have put effort into their profiles |
