I get the feeling being trans has had media overkill recently, and the backlash is noticeable, kept my head down recently. I prefer to be part of the scenery, not center of attention.

Ive never seen this stuff as an issue until recently due to overkill on media. Im an advocate of living life on lifes terms and Ive also lived with preop trnas m-f. I truly admire your descion and your strenght of character in being out there.

I feel that it's not us making all the noise though, most of us just want a quiet life. All the shouting is being done by people using big media backing to complain that they're being cancelled - so cancelled that they are forever on the front pages - and to tell us that our "trans agenda" is evil. Don't know about you, but the only trans agenda I have is to be able to go shopping without being murdered... |

It's a political football now. On the whole, even with the recent labelling backlash, I think it has to be said it's more accepted now.
A lot of trans voices are quieter (ones that are as worried about 'cis' rights every bit if as their own for example), and funnily enough they don't get heard.
And a lot of people just want to get through their day for sure.

I made the request to admin a while ago. I wanted a space everyone could come together and feel appreciated and could talk about things openly without judgement. |

-Did you do the one where the mod said they heard it? I wonder what is holding them back? It's probably one of the few things they can easily do or add to this pretty-simple forum. I wonder if it's a safety issue? I worried about what they could call it, but I'd be happy with just TV/TS, which covers it all (ie even CDs like me can slip in) is of course it's Fab's own wording so it won't look out of place.

I enjoy dressing up..
Mostly about the house which isn't great but hi ho ironically I dont have the balls to go outside 
Love to meet others (throw back to the series Lost and yes lost is where you end up with it ) .
Especially someone with expert makeup skills who I could learn off. I am ok but like to improve x

The only thing I can think of is that the sister site caters for TV/TS so maybe they feel that's good enough.
But yes it maybe work for the mods as unfortunately some people will target abuse towards the community.
