Does any one else feel age has caught up and body changing, and feel wary about meeting now, even though used to love it and was a big part of our lives, but not played for ages now . As just wondering others thoughts x |

I’ve felt like this for many years, and I was never body-confident. But I console myself with the belief that I’m in better shape mentally and physically than many other people of my age.
Somehow it works for me… though sitting indoors on my own again on a Saturday night despite making an effort is slightly crushing. |

As I get older I love myself more and give less thought to what other people think. As far as body changes, this is a constant from the day we are concieved. I accept any changes my body goes through, better or worse andI just try to enjoy my life journey the best I can. |

I never thought I'd be meeting at my age but enjoying it while it lasts.
I have suffered body dysmorphia all my adult life so it's not easy to get naked with anyone as I am uncomfy with how I feel about how I look, but people have been kind and supportive and that has helped me loads.
I am aware I am not so flexible as I used to be, and I don't have the stamina I used to have, but I seem to compensate for some of that by trying other ways of enjoying myself instead.
Cramp is a bugger, mind hahaha   |

I'm older than you and I definitely feel my body has changed. I wouldn't meet very young people (even if they wanted to) but surely anyone of a similar age knows what to expect.

I'm in my sexual twilight years and winding my Fab life down.
My brain and body can't cope with the least amount of work it takes to find someone, and then want to meet them.
Saying that, my long term friend paid me a visit recently and I found some energy in the bottom of the tank  |

I think iv definitely felt my age catch up with me a bit but I have been a lazy git all through covid and since I should get back to some kind of fitness really lol |

I reckon we feel a lot more social anxiety as we've got older - we feel less confident about meeting new people and social situations...

I put on a stone or so during the first lockdown, and I noticed that getting my weight back down wasn't as easy as it was when I was younger.
As for lines and wrinkles, I don't like it that I'm ageing, but it is what it is I suppose.
It doesn't seem to have made a real difference in terms of who I attract ... but that isn't the same as the crap I tell myself in my head. |

Yes all the time and it gets worse the longer it takes to find someone to meet. I’m getting more cracks in the old face, the boobs are sagging that little big closer to my navel and my stomach resembles a deflated balloon…… |

We are definitely more comfortable in our own skin, and definitely give less fucks about stuff...there's just something about social situations and meeting new people. I dunno...must be an age thing I suppose haha
