We are probably going to look at doing a club at some point and also quite like the idea of socials. Would people recommend going to a group social before club? Or just see how things pan out.

We prefer to go straight to a club. Loads of social places there and if you want to take things further its easier

I would always prefer a social to a club but that doesn't mean you will. Try what appeals most would be my suggestion

A lot of clubs have bar type areas for social meets

Fair point that. We've only ever had socials with 1 other person and never done a club so just seeing what other people do.

I enjoy clubs as easy to chat to people and see how you connect with no pressure. Then if all is good then move into having some fun.

Depends what you are looking for really. We have had socials and have built some great friends in clubs who we have social meets with also.

If it’s new couples we are looking to meet then a club is the preference . Maybe exchange messages and meet there.

We find the whole first meet social, coffee, bar, vetting process a bit weird.

Do it a club, if you get on, you’re in the right place, if you don’t get on, you’re in the right place.

go quietly in the club you will find something to socialize, we too the first time we went to a club years ago we were hesitant but everything went well.
