Thinking about it, I prefer a 6"-8" range.
Any shorter doesn't quite hit the spot, any longer is too much and you don't get to feel the balls and the stomach pushed up against you.
But then there's certainly girth to consider too.
But to answer the question, I'd say 7"+ with a decent girth is 'big'
