Should photos that are out of date be banned.
We have come across people on here with photos taken 15 years ago.
We have heard stories about meets where the couple looked like the grandma and grandad of the photos they saw.
Should photo over a certain age be banned? |

Yes, it's annoying when photos are obviously many years old. Rather dishonest. Difficult to enforce though, as people can just upload new copies of old pics. |

We hear those stories all the time! Really worries us when meeting people but thankfully the people we’ve met have been using recent pics.
I don’t see why you’d have pics on here from even a couple of years ago, you don’t look like that anymore! |

We've only had one meet where there photos were definitely old, it's just a waste of everyone's time, we often see people deleting and uploading the same photos over and over and wonder how old that photo actually is after seeing it in the feed for the 173929th time, ours are generally uploaded the night of or day after taking them.

Hold on, I'm not a site supporter and when I tried to load new photos, it said I had to delete photos. I tried deleting and it still wouldn't let me upload. I always send prospective meets latest photos of myself and don't have an issue getting a meet |

I've been coming on this site since around 2011 and still get messages from guys who have the same pics as when they first messaged me. It's an instant red flag. I like to keep mine fresh and don't understand the logic in only having ones from a decade ago! |

I have a few old pics up (because I like them) but also loads of new ones. I don't try to pass off as being slim still lol (openly say I'm size 14 and can see my size in my new pics) x |

Our first pic has been there since the day we joined,
It's a little piece of history lol, so don't really to be made to delete it
Apart from ones posted for a thread running on the forums or
someone has asked to see something in particular for instance,
we post our pics as we take them, so what you're getting is a timeline really
.
Better to ask for an up to date pic and then if you don't get what you want
you know that you should be a bit suspect |

But if it has a date on them so you know it's 15 years old, I don't really see a problem as they're open about it.
Banning would only result in people re uploading a picture which then will have a newer date, which in my opinion is worse.

Some profiles are uploading photos that are at least 5 years old. They keep deleting their profiles, starting new ones and putting up the same photos and have been doing for many years. You may think they're new photos but they're actually donkeys years old! |

I think the devil is in the detail. Are the old photos the only photos? Are they in chronological order (within reason)? Personally I don't mind old photos that are part of progressive journey on the scene continuing up to the last couple of years. |

I don't care if people have old photos just on show it's a great filter. If they got banned then they would just upload the same pics anyhow as recent so it's better to see they are old pics straight away. |

Why?
I've been on here since 2008 and Fox 2011. Our couples profile was set up in 2012 and the current profile photo is 10 years old. We also have some taken last year online.
Haven't had anyone ever say we don't look like our photos yet.
The dates are early shown on images. If you want to see a recent one from someone just ask. If you think all the photos are old then move on.
Just remember. The date shown is the upload date. It doesn't mean the photo itself wasn't taken 20 years ago so the system you're suggesting wouldn't work unless there was some way to display image metadata - which there'll never be.

I would ignore a profile with just out of date pics ie over 5 years old as we all change in that time.
Theres a profile local to me that has been on & off years. He still uses the same pic from when he first joined years ago.
If they have older pics and newer ones i don't mind that . |

I've got a mixture of pics on mine. Most are recent and have been posted when taken.
My fire eating pics are about 10 years old. My suit and drag pictures from 2017 or 2018. Put them up due to forum challenges or because I really liked them.

"A short coffee social or video chat soon clears this problem up " Or a club meet, if your intended swinging partners look dissapointingly different to what you imagined from their pics you have the chance at the club to meet other potential playmates |

I don't have an issue of old photos on a profile so long as if I ask for a face picture a recent one is sent and not one 15 years old.
I had experience of a social where person turned up was at least 15 years older than the photos I were told were recent and the age they were claiming to be. So they were nothing like their photos. Needless to say had polite drink and left. |

I update a face pic every so often,Make it public then just either delete it or keep in private pics.
In the past on previous profiles when I have arranged a meet, would always want to pop on cam first.
But have known ppl turning up for meets & the man was about 20yrs older than he said/shown in a pic. |

We dont see an issue with having some older pics, as long as there are also some recent pics too! And on the subject of pics being deceiving even NEW ones can be! we met up with a couple a good while ago, from the pics they sent she looked about size 12/14 when they turned up she was at least a 20/22. No doubt this will stir up the objectors but its called preference! |

I’m not really sure how the site photo mods would know how old a photo was to be honest so not sure how they can ban them ! ? |

if more people walked away when seeing that they've lied rather than shrug the shoulders and think oh well they are here now then many would not use old face pics ... and that there is the answer to why they do it they know if they puts an up to date pic they wont get a meet but by using a old pic they can at least get a foot in the door and then hope they wont get turned away ....
i can point out profiles on here where peoples face pics are 20 ..25 years younger than they really are and its not just guys its couples and women ..
over the years ive agreed to meet quite a few of these look nothing like the pic they showed mostly age is wrong by 10 ..20 years there one on here who is 30 years out of date he claims to be 51 he is in fact over 80 ....
but by far the worse ones are those who dont even used there own pictures and yes there are pplenty of them too ... but at the end of the day until you walk away these people will continue to use out of date pics or worse pics not of them ...walk away make it unacceptable to lie ...job done |
