I agree with above, go to a club and try to engage with people. We found (in our limited experience) most single men don't approach us (the people that have spoken to us haven't been bitten.....yet!). Don't join the 'wanking dead' brigade. Try not to stand in a corner alone as this probably won't help with your confidence or encourage anyone to speak to you. Good luck and have fun
