I agree. It should be about deviating from the norm and having a distraction from normal everyday life. Once you’ve reached that ‘space’ where you’re satisfied, then it’s back to normality |

We have a D/s dynamic. Basically P wants to set out goals and D sets rules and tasks to achieve the goals. Breaking them results in punishments but keeping to them results in rewards (meals out etc). It's nothing like a TPS but more a dynamic for P to grow. |
