Why do single men state they are non smokers on their profile?
It doesn't matter if they haven't smoked the day of the meet the smell is there on them all the time. It is in their lungs when they breathe on you and oozes out of their pores. Nothing more off putting to non smokers.
It spoils the whole meet and causes embarrassment all round.
Just be honest. Say your a smoker and non smokers can make their own minds up instead of being upset and disappointed. |

YOU can smell and taste it. Many non smokers can't, providing the smokers hasn't smoked prior to the meet and they have a good oral hygiene regime.
You'll be asking people to be honest about their sex lives next! |

Because they think they'll have more luck if they lie about it. I've heard stories about people sending fake cock pics and getting laid anyway, it's probably similar.
I'm super clear about it and yet people assume I don't know what I want and I absolutely want to meet them.

I’m a smoker my husband isn’t but we always let people who we meet know and show it in our profile.
Yet we still get messages from people who say won’t meet smokers  Always decline when we see that |

It's not just men, there are plenty of ladies & couples who do it too. In come cases people even have pictures of themselves smoking on their profile & still tick "don't smoke".
Ultimately people don't refuse to meet nonsmokers, but quite a lot refuse to meet smokers... so being honest reduces their possible meets.

I’m a smoker and it’s stopped me messaging some people I’d be very interested in.
I actually find it the most limiting thing about meeting anyone.
Trying to stop though so hopefully I’ll be able to tick the non smoker box soon.  |

To be honest, it's not just limited to single men, OP. I've found ladies and couples do the same. Sometimes, it feels more like carelessness with their profiles than anything else, but it does make me a tad concerned about what else isn't entirely accurate or forthcoming  |

Ooooh it’s so annoying. I find the taste of it a massive turn off. When I’ve got ONE opportunity to get laid all week and I’ve lined up ONE meet and he turns out to be a smoker… yeah. I fucked him anyway but I did mention in his veri. Definitely won’t get a second meet. |

As a smoker... who admits to being a smoker its clear there's many women who won't meet me for that reason so I can see why it might be tempting to lie.. but as many have stated its a clear ans obvious lie when meeting in person so I don't see any point in doing so. |

As with anything people will lie if it gets them more meets.
I've seen people put non smoker and have pics of them with a cig in hand/mouth.
You can tell they smoke when you meet them in most cases ,so it's pointless and wastes peoples time if they dont wanna meet a smoker |

I got your point your saying there is a reson why they wouldn’t mention it and that’s just incase they don’t get to do anything and rock the boat. But since the majority of our meets are in a club where there are lots of other women and couples they can have there pick of both non smokers and smokers. Fare enough if it was a one to one meet might be a bit worried to say but definitely not at a club. If anything I had one man wanting to lick me he said I smelled so good.. and no he wasn’t a smoker |
