Fake Tan on holiday, swimming & sea help..

Hello, sorry bit of a random question and not really swinging related..
Im going away with someone, she doesnt really enjoy sunbathing too much so doesnt really tan well on holiday. She wants to wear fake tan (she uses St Moritz 1hr i think its called) but is worried that going in the pools (which are usually chlorinated) and the sea will start leaving her patchy. She isnt fussed if it removes it evenly, quicker than usual as she will re apply more frequent than usual.
Has anybody had a fake tan on while on holiday or using swimming pools/swimming in sea that can give some advice?
Also do they go patchy for sweating (more than usual as obviously its going to be hotter than UK?

I don't use it but have consulted Google  . Basically it's immersion in water that fades it so short swims and don't rub dry, pat dry. Sweat will fade it so shower and pat dry if extra perspiration has happened |

St tropez is the best. They do some great gradual tans and instant tans too, so if the worst comes to the worst, she can cover up any patchy bits. Life’s too short to worry about patchy tan meaning not having a good time |
