I have to have a cup of kamikaze strength coffee, brewed properly first thing in the morning or I get a tad tetchy. I love the taste and aroma of fresh coffee. Not instant or grabbed from Costa. My fave was a brand called Taylors Lava Java (strength 6) but my local supermarkets appear to have stopped selling it, leaving me with no option but to kill everyone on the planet.
So, questions. Is anyone else like me in that they have to have this little vice in the morning or people die? Does anyone know of a decent brand and strength that I can get mail order perhaps? I live in a rural area and the supermarkets are limited in what they sell compared to more cosmopolitain areas.
Any advice appreciated, and my potential victims would thank you too. |

You are not alone. When I walk into work for a breakfast shift, they always have extra coffee brewed for me! Although my coffee tastes vary, I don't tend to stick to a brand, like my men, I get bored quickly!
However, the one you mention above can be bought online from Ebay and Amazon. |

Im so with you on lava java!!
I had a few friends who used to bring me this as a gift and one guy who used to search for unusual coffees for me and I always left a meet with something yummy.
Im such a coffee addict I crunch coffee beans as sweets, sometimes.
The trouble is coffee makes a guys sperm taste bitter |

Oh I'm not alone in my addiction! many thanks. Didn't know ebay/amazon sold foodstuffs!
And it's just one cup a day, but it starts the day off well. And as for the sperm thing, I eat lots of fruit to balance it out!

Im half way with you
I need 2 cups of coffee to start a day or Im playing silly beggers all day and am not organised.
Im not one for strong coffee though, I used to have a quater of a teaspoon of nescafe in a mug
Over the years though, I now need more coffee in the pot, so in 20 years I may well be chewing coffee beans
I love latte but then that needs a little more coffee to counter the milk factor |

I'll probably beat you to that point. Just chuck a few beans in my mouth and a teaspoon of sugar and I'll be set! |

I have to have at least 2 cups of tea before contemplating moving.
Jodie have you tried a nespresso machine?
You can order pods of all different flavours and strengths.
I only have one coffee a day, been my routine for years, normally around 11. |

Strangely enough I don't like espresso . I tried it while I was in Italy with work, thinking it'd be the best , but it just did nothing for me taste/texture wise. And was over too soon.
Interesting sex analogy there..... |

There is a cafe in Brighton called Choccywoccydoodah. If you are ever in the town centre, you have to try it.
As the name suggests it specialises in chocolate.
However, it also does an amazing drink, can't remember what it's called, but it's like an ace-cream float with coffee. Basically a strong dark coffee, with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on the top, with chocolate sauce poured over that. It is truly amazing!!! |

Possibly a good idea that I don't go there. They may get upset when I handcuff myself to their coffee machine.

I was late leaving for work this morning and didn't have time for my morning fix (strong, hot, black, straight from the stove-top espresso pot, no sugar). So I brought my own supply and my Smartcafe cafetiere mug into the office with me, rather than drink the instant crap provided by my employer. It's the only way to start the day! |

I'm a coffee snob, we don't have instant stuff in the house and wouldn't drink it if I was given it, yuck, rather drink water..
I grind the beans every time I make a cup, in the morning I have a big mug (holds a pint) of coffee and that's me set up for the day.
So I sympathise with yah Jodie, my fav beans were discontinued recently and I'm still trying to find a new favourite. |

I dont drink hot drinks and cant stand the smell of coffee, so think I'm the odd one out here.
As for a vice 1st thing in the morning? dont really have one, as long as I've got my bottle of water, I'm fine |

So what you're saying is; I could chain myself to a coffee machine, in a chocolate emporium AND get a damn good servicing too, with pics?
