I could deal with having to use mine in real life, as I like to think that I do indeed, rock.
However using the screen names for some of the people I talk to is an entirely different story. |

On a meet recently, she told me her real name, but she thought it was boring. So I said that when she's with me, she's (her profile name), which she seemed to like. Luckily it was an actual name and not Spunkbucket69 or something |

I have been there. Years ago I attended a BDSM event in Brum and had to give the Fet Life name I had signed up with on the door. It was something along the lines of Dark Overlord of All or something equally ridiculous, which was actually a private joke between me and my then partner as a bit of a piss take of the BDSM scene. Saying it out loud to identify myself was quite embarrassing! |

Wherever I lay my hat |
I have attended a number of Fab socials and I cringe every time I have to tell someone F2F what my username is. It usually involves me yelling "I'm Hornycouga" at the top of my voice in a packed bar just as the music dies |

I used a different name for Facebook, first name was mine, second and third were made up.
I ordered something through a Facebook page.
I wasn't home when it arrived and so I had to go to the post office for it.
They asked for proof of id, then said it's a different name.
Took me a moment, because I didn't realise it was that parcel, then it clicked.
I had to explain to them, showing them I was logged into Facebook by that name. |
