Head to South Queensferry & you have great views of the bridges. You can do a boat trip to see the seals & have a drink/lunch in Orocco Pier or ice cream from Lou-Lou’s. Edinburgh has a fab bus & tram service |

I had planned to visit a number of times at the weekend but could not get a hotel or B&B except at ridiculous prices."
