I’m genuinely shy in public and don’t have a clue how to flirt.
I saw two gorgeous men at the gym today and had no idea what to do. One was inches away from me lunging back and forth for ages as I tried to concentrate on my yoga stretches. I had to close my eyes in the end to stop myself gawping at his thighs.
What kind of clues would you like as a man from a woman at the gym or shall I leave you be overall?

Im more oblivious than normal at the gym... Plus wouldn't want to go viral with being a gym perv...
So you may need to either be straight to the point ... Or use the gym to build familiarity
Stroke their ego. Aske them to spot you or ask how equipment works. Or if they are proper gym bods ....ask them if they can check your form as the clearly know what they are doing .... |

I'd suggest waiting until they've done their workout and are leaving the gym. At very least wait until they're between exercises... I personally wouldn't interrupt anyone when they're "in the zone". |

I spend so much time trying not to stare or be seen to be making anyone uncomfortable in the gym as I know so many people are unsure about going that I try to avert my eyes at all times
So to how a beautiful woman such as yourself look over or approach and smile or say hi would be fantastic, and all you need.
Failing that perhaps ask someone for a spot or a tip if you see them doing something you like and strike up a conversation from there |

Yes, I think most guys do their very best to not look like they're checking someone out at the gym? Certainly not whilst they're actually exercising. It's a slippery slope between compliments, and getting barred |

Thanks. Some great suggestions there.
I know I’m totally in the zone most of the time and- like this lad- also have my headsets on. So talking or interrupting me is also not easy- which is why I hesitate to do it to others.
I have never asked anyone to spot me before but can certainly think about other ways to ask for help!
I guess telling someone what great shape they are in and how hard they must work to get that kind of time is a little too creepy? |

Lol. You’re so right.
I’m a geek at heart and tend to be too enthusiastic once I do open my mouth.
I think I’m just gonna avoid it all and focus on what I love most which is the workout. |
