Get turned off by age filters?
Personally, I cringe when I see 18 to 65. It makes me feel like the person will accept any action.
I do try to be objective and assume most people just never bother to change their age range but it still sometimes makes me wonder. |

Completely! I've had people message me that look into their 70s, which is way out of my filters. Again, I get that maybe they just had rough paper rounds but after a while, you see what's going on... |

Its their profile , they set their rules.
If someone doesnt want anyone contacting them from outside the age range they are looking for there is a filter they can use. |

Age is really not an important criterion for me in the context of swinging so I set the range wide and I have never had any disappointment that could make me reconsider. |

For me personally, age isn’t a big issue and I’ve not really put a lot of thought into it. To be honest, having a connection and attraction is what I focus on more rather than age brackets as it’s not their age that attract me to their profile if it me making contact with them. Though for me I find it tends to sort itself out naturally on here as most peoples profiles I see and end up chatting with aren’t miles apart in age, whether they’re younger or older. Though I appreciate age can be a important factor for people, so it hard to say what the best view or approach is xx |

I can't say as it bothers me. I imagine some people just don't bother setting them, rather than that they're *actually* looking to meet everyone from 18 to 99, and it's probably similar for those who say 18-65. I think sometimes people read too much into it. I think mine are set to something like that too. It's more a case of 'I'm not bothered by someone's age' and I wouldn't rule anyone out on that basis, though at the same time generally I find I have the most connection with people in/around my own age bracket. |

In this lifestyle I’m more open minded than I would be in normal life so my age filters aren’t set in stone.
I often see profiles with a very narrow age range but each to their own. We all run our profiles differently. |

18-99 i mean many profiles have that age range then theirs the ones i want to message that finish at 50 i mean how unfair is that, i may look older than my age but i definitely act younger  |

For us both it's about being honest with people. Below a certain age and we are venturing into ranges that match our offspring - above and it's getting into parents territory.
There is a ten year age gap between us which sets our limits at ten years older than me and ten years younger than her 
Now I'm sure that there are people out there that are very lovely and all but we go with what feels comfortable for us. There are many kinds of filtering mechanisms and we don't tend to be offended when we fall outside any of them - age filters included  |
