I met someone recently whose foreskin didn't retract -at all. Now if course I didn't say anything, I wasn't going to be rude but it took him an absolute age to cum, which I guess makes sense bc lack of fiction but he seemed totally oblivious.
I mean, he must know right? He was a nice guy but everything took so long I just haven't got the patience (or an entire evening for 1 guy cum!!) |

He wasn't from here, id never disclose something like that on a forum.
I just thought sex must always be a bit underwhelming for him, and he must have seen enough other guys to see a noticeable difference?? |

"Apart from anything else isn't there a problem with hygiene if it doesn't retract? How does he clean himself after?"
Well yes, it should retract in early childhood. If not doctor's usually intervene.
When with him the hygiene thing crossed my mind but I didn't want to dwell on it :/
I've only seen it twice as an adult in men, both times the experience was really hard work. |

foreskins that cant be pulled back ill not play with for obvious reasons ..if im meeting a guy i will always ask before any talk of meeting ..
its amazing just how many men dont clean or wont or cant so i avoid all tight foreskins or ones that cannot be pulled back at all ..
these guys need to go to the drs there often a simple fix to help them to correct it or a op it cant be nice for them at all and its not just hygine for those that are clean it the thought of hurting them

I didn't think it was common enough for me to think about asking. Both times I was surprised. This time I did think "oh no", but he was at mine already and I really couldn't just turf him out. Needless to say, I'd politely decline any future meets.

Phimosis is the medical terminology which I only recently learned.
I’ve had this problem all my life and it’s never really affected me until the last 18 months where yes, taking my age into account it’s now effected me with severely delayed orgasms due to lack of sensitivity.
It was making our sex life a bit more difficult and becoming quite awkward and frustrating when playing with others too.
Previously I’d never given it much thought, no partners in vanilla or swinging life had ever really commented on it or made it an issue and it hadn’t been one for me until recently.
Seen the doc recently who took one look at the old fella, wasn’t the least bit surprised by why I was struggling with delayed orgasms and referred me for a circumcision assuring me that will sort the problem - fingers crossed it does!
As for hygiene, I’ve always been extra vigilant about keeping it clean regardless, just seems a natural thing to be conscious about. |

Thank you, and yes I've heard the term, it is interesting that it didn't become an issue until later. Best of luck, hope it makes a big difference. |

I have this problem too. When hard I can’t pull back all the way. Luckily it’s fine when soft so hygiene is fine and I keep the little fella clean. I think there’s three options to cure. Surgery, steroid cream and stretching, just stretching. It doesn’t cause me any issues so I prefer not to intervene. |

Think there is a lot of ignorance around this subject. Most men can retract when soft, which I'm guessing is when all men clean there dicks. It's usually only when hard it becomes an issue to retract. Some men might not be keen on having their cocks cut, it doesn't sound pleasant to me. But with all that said, it is up to individuals if they like them or not and choose to play with them. It just annoys me when people presume they are not clean. |

Mine doesn't retract very far.
Never had any issues with cumming, or hygiene.
You just wash your cock. While there are treatments, drs only advise them if it is causing you discomfort or you struggle to wash your cock.
The procedure also only has around a 50/50 success rate. There is also a steroid cream available which you massage into the area but again is not 100% |

Didn't think it seems to be such a push-factor for women!
Mine doesn't retract when hard, but it does when soft and I'm washing. It's wrong to assume it's by default any less hygienic.
Never had an issue with delayed orgasm. If anything, it's the rubbing of the foreskin which causes heightened sensations generally. Men who are circumcised ofen complain about a big loss of feeling.
As to whether to intervene or not, as long as it doesn't make penetration impossible (technically the frenulum could tear if pulled too much by a tight foreskin), I don't think it's medically required.
Imagine if the conversation was about women with longer loose labia or whatever body issue that is technically not a medical problem... |

Mine was tight when I was a kid -- Probably down to being from a single parent family with nobody to teach me man stuff.
Anyway, a couple of uncomfortable early experiences taught me that this wasn't ideal (i.e. painful).
Got myself to the GP, who suggested circumcision -- but I didn't want the recovery period or reduced sensitivity, so trained it to go back properly myself.
It took a while, and a bit of force, but I haven't had a problem since I was in my late teens.
One thing that some guys might benefit from knowing, is that the cocks you see in porn are often cut -- so don't judge yourself (or others) against what you wank off to. |

As for taking ages to orgasm -- this could be for a lot of reasons.
As far as I know, circumcised men have lower sensitivity than those who are uncut -- the protection has been stripped bare, so they naturally desensitise to be comfortable in their pants.
For me, if I take too long, it could be that the sex is mundane, or there isn't enough chemistry with a partner -- or it could be that I'm enjoying it so much I want it to last. |

Exactly.
More foreskin should mean quicker time to cum in theory as the glans is as sensitive as it could be.
You start removing foreskin cover (pulling back and circumcision in the extreme) and the glans needs to start desensitising so it can handle direct contact. |

No, that's not how it was. No extra skin, just very tight and doesn't move, hence no friction. What I saw was closed by the tip like very young boys are |

The way the dr described it to me was that with the foreskin not retracting all the way back as it should - all the sensitive areas and “pleasure zones” were covered and not getting the full feeling and stimulus from sex - so even with the likely hood of it being desensitised through circumcision - the offset in increased sensitivity from exposure would still be far better.
He was a specialist in it, so I guess I can only have trust that he knows what he is talking about and hope for the best *fingers crossed* |

But they can still fully wash their flaps? No worries about possible smegma, no? |

In the same way most men with tight'ish foreskins can pull it back and wash the glans when soft in the shower. If the head was washed, smegma is not going to grow back the minute you get an erection and it's covered |

Agree with the above poster, as long as things can be retracted and cleaned while flaccid I hope other don’t disapprove too much. Myself, while erect I don’t find it particularly pleasurable to retract it as it’s bloody painful while fully engorged and detracts from any other pleasure I may gain! I think if it did have sex regularly with it retracted I’d either last forever or not at all as it would either hurt too much to continue or be so distracting I wouldn’t be able to think of anything else… |

Mine had to be cut years back because it wouldn't retract |
