Copyright legal nonsense on profiles

All the legal sounding copied and pasted caveats at the end of so many peoples profiles - often longer than the profile! - are legally meaningless. When you sign up to any site you agree to their legal statement and that is that.

I think I must be in a very grumpy mood posting worthless rubbish like this.

Site owners don't want people posting this rubbish on their profiles, as it wastes valuable server space. It's even mentioned in site FAQs

Plus… and I say this with humour… on what planet do all these people think anyone would want to reproduce their profile pics… most are barely worth a glance on here let alone reproducing elsewhere. Snowflakes.

Probably the same people who believe that the world is flat, that the moon landings were faked, and that 5G towers spread Covid.

What! No! The world isn’t flat? Well what damned shape is it then? Obviously the 5G tower/ covid thing is nonsense as everyone knows it is monkey pox they spread! Finally the moon doesn’t even exist… fact!

It’s like when people copy and paste statuses on FB that supposedly stop the ads. Haha

It shoes how human behaviour can be coaxed doesn't it? All of us can be programmed to some extent.

Calderdale innit

It's a good filter for me , especially when the warning is longer than their profile.
