When did we normalise rimjobs?

Just wondering when rimjobs became the Norm? It seems more common than not these days. I personally put it down to fake taxi vids having a lot to do with it. I’m not complaining I love giving rimjobs but it seems it wasn’t common for straight men to receive them until the last few years? Now, whenever I meet a guy, I just expect to do it and it seems men just expect women and TV’s to lick ass these days haha.
What’s your thoughts? I know it’s probably been more common for men to receive them but I just mean the average man. |

I started receiving after a relevant episode of Sex in the City... Somewhere 2003-2005ish?
Wasn't something I had done / been remotely interested in. But suddenly boys wanted to, so... 
A few years after that I stopped referring to it exclusively as "misdirected effort"...  |

I've enjoyed giving but never thought I'd enjoy receiving until it happened and it genuinely felt amazing. Hygiene is of course the most important thing but I'd never expect it to happen unless they say they're into it. I'm all. Sexual exploration is the best exploration after all  |

I certainly wouldn't say they are more common than not. And although they feel amazing, I don't really like receiving them.
I presume the culprit is porn. I genuinely don't think it would have occurred to me otherwise. But I am glad it did as those who enjoy receiving seem to REALLY enjoy it! |

I would have to disagree slightly with the view of it being ‘normal’ now
Back in Roman times and ancient history sex and sexual pleasures were according to history texts very kinky from Roman orgies, anal and gay sex being a casual evenings entertainment.
It was the rise of religion and specifically Christianity that saw it as ‘sin’ repressing sexual enjoyment for 100s if not 1000s of years.
That’s only really becoming more ‘normal’ in the last few years and it’s okay to enjoy sex, or be kinky, or casual sex, or, or, or etc
Take lesbian sex that fairly recently was a taboo, now most clubs on Friday straight women are exploring and bi women are seen as okay and normal. Yet bi/gay men or just ‘exploring’ are still taboo but becoming more mainstream

This thread has surprised me. I didn’t think rimming was normalised. It hasn’t come up between me and my partners at all. Not yet, anyway.

I don't really think they've been that normalised! Also, the FakeTaxi rimjobs are so poor. All darty tongues and done for the camera.

It's become more and more normalised in porn and general media.
You've have stand up comedians and rappers singing about eating ass for ages now. I'd say probably say social media might be the culprit.

Regardless of whether you’re expecting to be rimmed or not I think the least anyone can do before a meet is making sure you’re clean and smelling fresh! |
