"Totally agree.
Read about ten pages, and it was so rubbish that was enough. You'd have to be a real masochist to finish the whole thing."

I'm hoping that the film will be better, some really sexy actors in the frame to play Christian, Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer, Ryan Reynolds.......mmmmmm yes please! |

That explains why I put myself through all 3 books! Had to read it out of sheer curiosity to see if there was any actual kink in it and was sorely disappointed...it is just a love story with a hint of kink for the less perverted to me. Almost a Disney story with how idealised it all is x |

Ah it's an entertaining bit of fluff
I find it very amusing to hear non-swinger/non-kink people's opinions of it.. and grin to myself and think... You have no idea.. Hehe

I thought the story was ok and fairly well written. The sex was, in my opinion, the first step on the ladder to kinky. I smile secretly to myself when I hear my vanilla friends talking about how rude it is....must be half good for it to be such a success.
Who doesnt want a mega rich, drop dead gorgeous man to cuff them and spank their bottom??? |

I've never read the books, found them in my daughter's bedroom the other day so might have a look to see what its all about.
Not sure I'm keen on the slightly superior atitide from some towards those who do find them a turn on though. If that's what floats their boat bloody good for them. |

"Who's Richard Bacon ? "
he was a presenter on Blue Peter, until he got sacked for doing cocaine.
A man of common sense and moral authority, in other words. |

He took the fall to protect his girlfriend, Connie Hook who was also there that night. For Blue Peter to have 2 presenters outed simultaneously would have been disastrous, especially as the show was under management review at the time.
So he fell on his sword, went in to the wilderness and then got rehired once the heat was off. |

I see what you're saying - it's good that people who had never 'let go' and read a single piece of literotica in their life now find something that's acceptable in society to read and discuss.
I get annoyed by having to listen to women talking how kinky they are now because they've read that book - if only they knew what else was out there and just how far things could go if they wanted! But I don't say because if I told them about other books or what I would consider to be kinky behaviour, they would think I was some sort of sick twisted pervert!
