If you were having the operation done then surely you’d have already spoken to a doctor about it and been given advice, but despite that the only thing you know is that you can’t have a bath and that’s not even correct. So the first few attempts at peeing was having to sit and pee, until the 'spray head' settled down. It was never painful.
The painful part was the auto alarm clock, which about 6am woke you up with a morning stiffy, letting you know the stitches needed a stretch and hard pull in every direction, especially where the blood had glued them to the skin.
