What I find interesting about this thread was on another site there was athletic guys saying how large woman contacted them and did they really think they would be interested.. I like all my guys to be trim and toned! Girls I'm less fussy about although a classic hourglass shape would be my pick! It's a lot harder for lassies to control curves than for guys in my opinion!

I guess it all depends on where you are coming from. I tend to call a spade a spade in everyday situations and yet I would be more careful, would try to be sensitive in situations when I suspect the use of certain words upset others - consequently I use different words.
Words have connotations and these vary from one person to another. Whether that is here in the forums or in real life. |

It's amazing how different words can offend different people. Personally, "skinny" has always struck me as a really derogatory term - at least as offensive as "fat".
The euphemisms are even weirder sometimes - surely an hourglass is in a literal sense curvier than a sphere? Yet some properly enormous women like to describe themselves as "curvy". "BBW" is even more bizarre - unless obese women actually are automatically beautiful?
Ultimately they're all labels, sure they can be used with an intention to offend but often they're not. Seems a shame to focus so much on which ones we happen to like to use and like to hear used. |
