Spent a weekend chatting to someone who seemed genuine, was very flirty and had been verified. Promises were made and given but surprisingly today that profile has vanished! Seems like a common occurrence and bizarre really, why not just ignore or block? |

Yeah, I’ve had this happen to me and I’ve only been on fab for about 5 mins.
Also, I am getting confused about read but not deleted messages. Had a few promising chats but then the woman/couple just doesn’t reply but also doesn’t delete the message(s). Are they just putting me on hold for a bit? Surely if it’s a no, then they would just delete? |

Don’t try to be logical. You just have to let go. Not easy I know |

I do this. Usually I’ve either been interrupted and lost track, or leave it as a message I want to reply to either when in a different frame of mind or think of a decent reply. But doesn’t hurt to pick it up with a friendly message to see if they want to continue the convo after a few days of silence. |

"Could be any number of reasons they left fab.
They changed their mind ,life got in the way, they weren't single etc
"
You also find that some women's/couple's profiles are just sad lonely men. Therefore there's never any chance of a meet anyway. Sad but true.

People get horny and want to meet st the time, then get the jitters and delete their profile all the time. I reckon most couples definitely start that way.
This is a swinging site, not a dating site. If you are offended by meets not happening, you might be in the wrong place |

I use the "saved" button when I'm chatting to someone I like, I also put them in my hotlist, 6 people who I've been chatting to have deleted their accounts in the past 3 weeks |

Oh dear this doesn't bode well for me on that strike rate - deletion imminent |

Tha5 certainly occurred to me. It was the veris that confused me though, although I guess if you’re really duplicitous you have a couple of accounts and self-verify? |

Happens all the time and sometimes youve just not gotta take it personally.
Some people just cant be honest and say “ sorry its working and your not my type. Happened to me and got 300 messages and was having right laugh etc. Then all of a sudden blocked without explanation. Took it very personally and slumped me for a while. |

Just happened to me again, contacted by a couple, told me to send my number and they would meet me at a certain hotel in a certain local place. I pointed out that there wasn’t a hotel of that name in that town, I was blocked |

its normal people lose interest our youve been fooled and was talking to a guy wanking ...one thing tho you've not been ghosted being ghosted is someone you know very well dropping you and disappearing like a girlfriend or long term friend ..
nothing is real on this scene until its really happening and sadly because of the very over abundance of men its men that suffer most ... |

Yes thanks for putting me right on that. Can’t imagine how anyone who has managed to chat to some of the lovely profiles on here ( yours included) would ever be so stupid as to just stop chatting to them…..but I guess it takes all sorts! |

I read every message but rarely delete them, no need to, just read it and move on (when they don't add a pic/meet what I'm after etc) |

Thanks
I felt very much below average after being ghosted but a far more successful meet with a follow up has helped |

They could've been put off by someone else you have to remember most people could be chatting with more than one and it could've been something that they said or more then just one. It's not easy for a woman when she just joining and gets hounded by loads of random messages not all of them could be pleasant |
