I've never been able to decide what shape or size i like the most in a woman. I love curvy, I love slim, I love all shapes. At times I feel like I'm the only one! Because every guy I chat too seems to like slim skinnier women. If a woman puts a bit of weight on at work. The guys will say some extremely awful stuff about them. So I'm wondering if it's a case where they do like bigger women but are too scared to admit it. Just curious what other peoples view points are on it?? |

Don’t be an active bystander and get a grip of the uninitiated.
Cliche but it’s the mind that turns me on whatever to the shape and size. |

As a slim woman I think a lot of men prefer curves... there are lots of men who see me as too slim... theres also a lot who like to use unpleasant terms to describe my body...
I think its each to their own but lots of men prefer a curvier lady x |

I think lots of people are simply conditioned to think that slim = beautiful. Society collectively has some odd/narrow/wholly inaccurate definitions of beauty both for men and women.
The antidote is to just like who *you* like for the reasons *you* like them and screw what anyone else has to say about it. |

I can initially be attracted by a body type but it’s the mental attraction that wins me over.
If I’m chatting to someone and there’s no immediate physical attraction but they exude a strong sexual confidence I’ll take that anytime over looks and a perfect body. |

As said before a curvy woman..
but a slender woman r just as nice.. it isn’t just the body that makes the person..
looks..intelligent..conversational..etc
Variety is the spice of life.. |

Why anyone would bring someone down that isn’t to their taste is beyond me, and pretty childish to be fair.
Everyone likes what they like. Surely you wouldn’t care what others like?
For me I do prefer a more voluptuous woman, I’m all about the ass. That been said a lot is facial attraction and personality too. X |

From my experience, men seem to prefer bigger butts and boobs. I tell them I'm not their type as I'm petite and althetic. |

Why do you need to choose which you prefer?
I like women, period.
Curvy, slim, athletic, whatever, I'm down for them all.
If a man criticises a body shape, I tend to find it's actually a projection because he is deeply unhappy with his own body.
My favourite example is when a man says a muscular woman looks like a man.... But he himself resembles a sack of onions... So what man is he basing that off? Or is he saying he is not a man? |

Not that it's really down to me to comment on anyone else's body... But my preference is for slimmer ladies. And for what it's worth vixen, you look fantastic.
As for those using unpleasant descriptions... You see it all too often. Have a thought guys.. |

"Has long as the person who’s attached to the skin and bones or curves and pervs is a nice honest person .. then all lovely "
I think compatibility plays more important part than looks. You can be initially attracted to someone but if your preferences in bed don't match, you're not going to really enjoy the sex. |

Spend some time at a nudist resort and you'l soon realise that attractiveness comes in all shapes and sizes.
As a young man I was convinced that my 'type' was petite women with small pert boobs....
Then I started going to naturist beaches and discovered my eye was drawn to tall women, women with larger hips and/or boobs and even some women who may be considered generally 'curvy'.
Then I realised that what I was attracted to was women who were simply comfortable in their appearance and confident enough not to care what anyone else thought. |

I pretty much share your thoughts here. I’m more into someone that is comfy in themselves, then a body type. |

I’d describe myself as curvy but relatively slim - I think confidence is sexy regardless of size and to be fair it’s all perceptive a woman can be a different size of clothing in multiple shops it’s not a one size fits all - put two sized 12 woman next to each other they will never look the same - sexy is a state of mind not a shape x |

I prefer slim.
But some men will always find a way to put women down and make nasty comments. If it wasn’t their weight it would be their looks, the way they dressed, that they were a whore, that they were bossy, full of themselves. Etc etc.
It’s other people’s insecurities and the media encourage this by commenting on women’s appearance when it’s irrelevant to whatever job they are doing. |

I think as women, we are from an earlier age conditioned to think that men only find a certain type of woman attractive. The typical slim, size 10 toned body. The type of body I could only dream of having. As I have got older and became single again after a long time, and thinking no one would ever find my mum body/big thighs and ass attractive, I have realised that it’s not the case. I went through spells of feeling more desired and sexier recently than I ever did when I was much slimmer. Going through a crisis of body confidence at the moment, but I think that if someone puts down another’s body for whatever reason, they are an arse. Everyone has their own preference, but to put someone down on their appearance just because it’s not to your preference, just makes you not a nice person anyway. See it all the time on here. Get to know the person beneath the body, and that makes them even more attractive or not as the case may be x |

- I'll add it's not all 'societal'. Regardless of 'society' we can all make our own minds up. In my case, when overweight I had the most vitriol from my older sister & mother. Which was kind of ironic in that they were prolific yo-yo dieters. You could say they were conditioned by society but nah, that's the lazy way out |

I think the OP was referring to people not liking fat as opposed to curves. You can be a size 10 and curvy!
I think there is some truth in the perception about guys happy to fuck fat women but not date them. I know not all guys but in the main. |

All kinds of shapes and sizes of women's bodies can be incredibly sexy
A big problem is that society/media/companies have punted the idea that skinny is hot and anything else is not for far too long. That's definitely going to have an effect on what body types people see as attractive. Thankfully, it's beginning to get better but there's still a long way to go!

Love this comment, it's all about learning to love ourselves... we all have insecurities, we all go through body confidence wobbles but we need to try and love us x |

Not just saying this as I know there's no chance of meeting but that's a nice comment you made but I'm definitely sure there's many, many ladies that would love a body like yours xx |

"All shapes and sizes are sexy!
Ah yes, the classic way of not putting anyone off. "
All about the efficient gathering of the widest possible demographic, apparently. You have to admire the logic. If (absolutely) nothing else.
My favourite shape is a pentagon, and I've thus never found the shapely woman of my dreams. Some of us are destined to walk this Earth alone. Radially symmetric, but alone. |

Never give up searching, your pentagon is out there somewhere |

All sizes and shapes for me, although, given a binary choice between skinny and curvy I would tend to go for curvy. Weirdly, considering it is supposed to be physical, personality is important to. |

"Everyone should be accepted for who they are whatever their body type.
Do you call them out when you hear them making such horrible comments or stay quiet?
"
I'd like to say i do at times! But unfortunately in some cases, people are just so deluded in their mindset that it's just not worth engaging with them. |
