Why do kinks seem to be pigeon holed in to a BDSM/S&M category in porn and many people's perceptions?

Please don't get us wrong we enjoy that too, but a few examples, flogging, blindfolds, pegging, restraints, spanking, sounding, queening etc, etc..

We for the majority enjoy this spectrum of activities for more the sensation, cerebral excitement and trust element's than the dominance. (The majority, please note)

Why pigeonhole BDSM into something that can't be purely pleasure based?

It's a very wide spectrum. The loudest and most vocal parts may be in the S&M, but there's plenty of pleasure based Ds.

Yeah, pretty much our take.

You're right on the "loudest" statement!

Search pegging for example, pretty much always portrayed as a submissive/dominance act..
