"How do you make a tea for yourself and for others?
What is the order for
milk, water, tea bag, sugar "
Put em all in together (with cold water), than whack it in the microwave ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

Teabag: teabag, water, mash, remove teabag, milk if applicable, sugar/honey if applicable. (This also applies to an infuser in a mug)
Teapot: heat pot and cup, drain, tea in infuser, water in teapot, mash, remove infuser. Milk if applicable, tea, sugar/honey if applicable. |

A bag in a miniature teapot, stir and leave for five minutes, stir again and pour, then a dash of skimmed milk, oh, and it has to be Yorkshire Gold, nothing else comes near it (-: |

Water, tea bag and then a dash a milk. I dont add sugar bc it ruins the taste for me. For others I let them add sugar how they like it. |

"A teapot. Bag then water.
Milk into the cup, then the brewed tea, then sugar"
Can’t believe we’re the only sane people in the thread.
Does nobody else use teapots any more?
Bags in the pot. Boiling water in the pot.
Wait.
Wait some more.
And wait more.
I want it to actually taste of tea, not coloured water.
So keep waiting.
Dash of milk in the cups.
Now you can remove the teabags (remember to compost or recycle).
Pour that perfect brown nectar into the mugs.
Keep your sugar, I’m sweet enough thanks.
Enjoy.

Some of us WANT to use a teapot but trying to find one that pours without dribbling is a lost cause!

Jing tea - they have a shop in London.
Please don’t use bags though, like some above

"Depends...if it's in a mug, then teabag, water, milk. If it's from a pot, then it's milk followed by tea
Mrs
This... the perfect cuppa x "
Speaking of which, I'm off to put the kettle on. Only dilemma is mug or teapot...

"Anyone who puts milk in with the teabag at the start is a psycho and needs to go to The Hague for a tea crimes tribunal"
Despite our differences on pot vs mug or sugar vs none, I think we can all agree on this one vital truth. |
